Bella Fonte Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Ashland

My husband and I tried it for the first time and really enjoyed it. I had italian sausage with pasta (spaghetti and marinara) it was very good, flavorful and cheesy, and he had Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo and it was amazing, the steak was juicy and tender, the pasta creamy and full of flavor. We had to try dessert of course, we shared Cannolis and Tiramisu, both were delicious, we will probably go by just for desserts some days 😏 The prices are very reasonable and the staff was extremely helpful in answering questions about the menu. We ordered it to go and it was still hot when we got home and settled in to eat it, and the wait wasn't long at all for the food. We will definitely be going back soon!

Update: We went back last night, I had the Sorrento with Angel Hair this time and it was very good! It is similar to the Caprese Olive Garden used to have but removed from their menu, it was my favorite dish, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it was so similar and delicious. Only thing I'd say is the tomato peelings were a bit tough, but not so bad I couldn't enjoy the dish. We did get salads with our meal this time, I think we were supposed to the last time and it wasnt mentioned, but they were good, Honey Mustard dressing was very good on them. Bread and dessert were great. We forgot the punch card the first time, but a staff member recognized us and punched those dinners as well, so that was nice, to be remembered and treated well. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bella Fonte Italian Restaurant, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! 😍🍝 From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly hostess and staff dressed in clean, matching uniforms—setting the tone for an amazing dining experience. The dining room is spacious and inviting, perfect for any occasion. 🪑✨

The menu is huge! 📜🤩 It features classic Italian dishes but also some fun Mexican-inspired items, like burritos with rice and beans 🌯🌶️—which looked amazing.

I decided to stick with Italian, as Bella Fonte came highly recommended by Shade over at Firestone. My waitress was not only professional but also super friendly 🥰, promptly bringing me my drink and some fresh bread with marinara sauce to start. 🍞🍅 What a treat!

I ordered the manicotti, and let me tell you—it was incredible! 🤤❤️ Generously portioned, the manicotti was layered over a bed of spaghetti with meat sauce, creating a flavor explosion. The side salad 🥗 was fresh and crisp, and the timing was perfect—just as I finished my salad, out came my main course, served piping hot (be careful, lol 🔥).

I don't take the time to review restaurants - ever, and most of the time, I usually only write a review to vent bad service. However, this time it's because I can't believe how good Bella Fonte was today.

I went to Bella Fonte for lunch and we ordered 2 different calzones (pizza & meatball). I didn't know that the garlic Parmesan bread & marinara sauce would be served at no charge as an appetizer. It was so good!

When our 'lunch' calzones came out, I couldn't believe my eyes - they looked like they were as big as a football! Now, I'm a large man and hadn't eaten breakfast yet, and I ate until I couldn't eat any more. I could only eat 1/2 of the calzone, and the same goes for my wife. I can't explain how delicious it was. The cheese was so rich and soft; the bread was delicious; and I don't think I've had a better marinara sauce before.

With it being a Monday lunch, it was definitely much quieter than any evening or weekend I bet. Regardless, our drinks were served quickly as well as the bread & sauce. As soon as we finished the bread, our meal was served. Our waitress was very kind and I never had to wait for a refill.
