This Kohl's is convenient but smaller than some of the other stores in the area. to be honest I only shop Kohl's when they have the 30% coupon because it never seems like everything is really discounted unless you have the big discount. Even though they have a relationship with Amazon and you can return Amazon purchases there. I have to note the inventory at this Kohl's is often dated. hopefully Kohl's will get on the ball and put more relevant merchandise on the shelves and discount the older merchandise so it moves out even faster. I also find that Kohl's has slow moving checkout, mostly because they allocate employees as needed. Kohl's has a nice app which I frequently use, because it has a scanner feature - meaning that you can scan the barcodes on items and get the actual at the moment price. Great when it works, sometimes I bring items to the front cash registers just to verify that the scanner was right (or wrong). In addition it doesn't always tell you if the coupons apply meaning Skechers can take the coupon but New balance can't. This guessing game has me leave a lot of stuff at the front register because the discounts didn't pan out. As you can tell I'm a frequent Kohl's customer, and I enjoy the store, but understanding how to system works is like a freaking second job. I just want to go in get the best price five things I want and leave! Sorry for the long rant, but I hope your Kohl's experience is somehow made better by...
Read moreWent today at 3:00pm and the line was 15 customers long, only including one customer per family. Finally get to my place in line and the person that was supposed to help me doesn’t say hi and instead notices somebody going out the door and I guess it was a tag because it made some kind of alert when she went out. He doesn’t say anything to me and he goes running (even though another staff said they would go) from behind the register and out to go to the lady so when the next person came available, I picked up my stuff And moved to next register where the staff member told me oh he’s back I said no that’s OK. The person who actually helped me very nice young man, appreciated that he said when the Kohl’s cash started and ended. One person was signing somebody up for a credit card and they all asked each customer if they wanted a credit card. I understand this is something that stores do but not at the risk of offering terrible customer service because the time it takes to sign that person up for a credit card is usually 15 to 20 minutes and all those people just standing there in line and not very happy about it. I normally only post positive reviews, but I had to say something. This was just a...
Read moreThis was quite honestly the worst retail experience I've had. I had my husband pick up my one order. They told him there was no way to give him gift receipts. Of course they can, and they did for me when I hobbled in on an injured leg (the reason I ordered online and had the husband do the pick up). It just takes more work on the associate's end (returning and then repurchasing the order), and someone clearly didn't want to take the time, or was not properly trained. The customer service tried to reach out, but didn't actually offer it do anything. In the end they couldn't go back in time and NOT cause me to stand in line in pain when I shouldn't have been standing at all. I do a lot of my holiday shopping at Kohl's every year. ...
