I have been a fan of this store for a while, they *usually have good quality stuff. I recently bought a ring that was 80 dollars, the stone popped out within an hour of wearing it. I brought it back and they fixed it with no charge, but when I got it back the prongs were warped and there was visible adhesive. The stone popped out again the same day I got it back. I returned it asking for a refund since the ring could not be fixed, and I was told it could not be refunded. I was given store credit for the price of the ring, that has to be spent there instead (I also returned the ring and stone.) It is rare for me to see something that expensive and like it enough to buy it, I was a little bit frustrated, and I just did not feel like sitting there and picking out rings after that. I would not have spent that money under the pretense this would have happened, and being obligated to pick something new out just bc i HAVE to in order get my moneys worth is shitty and overwhelming. I decided not to push for a refund and make trouble for the worker, I honestly just really wanted to leave at that point. I have a feeling I wouldn't have gotten it anyway as it was a stern no the first ask. They said I could use the credit in the future so I will come back when I have time. Not sure when as I am a 30 minute drive away and work full time, and I have already made 3-4 trips back here for this single ring already in the last week, which also added a bit to my frustration, I am tired 😭. It really is a cool store, I have several rings from them where I haven't had any issues that I still wear to this day. My understanding is the ring was sourced from someone/somewhere else. But beware when buying, that if something happens with your product that is ultimately the stores fault for not quality checking a specific piece and botching the repair, you won't get a refund, just credit. For a ring priced at $82.95 you really do not expect that. I feel like this is cheap of them and I am honestly disappointed. Although I have good quality stuff from them that was much cheaper($30-40), now I feel like it's a bit of a gamble and I am not sure if there are other rings at these price points that this could also happen with, I mean I thought I trusted their products but now I cant say I am 100% confident to purchase from them again, but I guess I have to if I don't wanna waste that money. The staff were friendly at least. I would just take this experience into consideration when shopping with them. I really would have never said something bad about this store before this situation but they have lost my full trust as a customer in both the product and the way it was...
Read moreThese people are absolutely rude. My mom and I went in and we were never greeted or received any sort of acknowledgement. I thought maybe they were just rude in general, but then they were being super nice to all of the other customers. My mom overheard them saying I had a big bag and to keep an eye on me. I worked in retail for several years. If we had customer who had large bags or backpacks we just asked if they could keep them behind the counter and that was it. You guys didn't even do that. By the way, this big bag had plenty of cash to spend. I just got a new apartment and need crystals and stones to make it more spiritual. Glad I didn't get them there because there wasn't anything spiritual or positive...
Read moreLong time customer.. that won't be back. When inquiring about the authenticity of their moldavite, I was met with defensive and uninformative answers. Being that moldavite is an often counterfeit stone, I don't feel it was unreasonable to ask for some sort of proof of authenticity. What I recieved was a photo copy of a picture of a stone that said it tested as moldavite. This document was years old, had no connection to the stones they had for sale, and when I asked where terra stones obtains their moldavite from, I was told the czech republic is the only place to get moldavite... right, but where did terra stones get...
