In the heart of Astoria lies a beautiful shop named Port Hopper. Its wide windows allows you to catch a full view of the goods from across world. I was lucky enough to visit and take a look around. It is not only a shop that shows what Astoria is all about but what the world is and everything it could offer. From its Mushroom Kits to its artisanal blown glass decor, every pieces creates a sense of thought and curiosity. The owners, Adrian and Eric are there to answer any questions these goods could invoke and excite. It’s wonderful how everything is laid out and even the upstairs shows artworks by local artist, really shows how much thought and care the owners put into filling not only their store but the world with creativity and a sense of home. When I get the chance to visit Astoria once again, it will be the first and last place I go to. I hope anyone reading this checks them out.

Amazing shop! Colorful and eye catching! Immediately were greeted and welcomed in when we walked in. The gentleman in the store were very kind and had excellent customer service. Tons of neat things to look at and purchase. I’ve never been in a shop like this and we will definitely be returning!!

A beautiful treat along Commercial Street with a stunning window display and products! They have a huge variety of beautiful and unique products that you won’t just find anywhere. Very refreshing from the typical cookie cutter tourist shops. The staff is very warm and welcoming!

Adding to the positive reviews for this well curated arts, crafts, and decor shop. As a regular visitor to Astoria over the past decade, I somehow overlooked Port Hopper. So, on a recent visit with 3 friends who also love the arts and enjoy shopping, I finally stepped in. They have a wonderful selection of quality, handmade crafts from around the world. Plus, their prices are remarkably reasonable. My girlfriend and I picked out a really cool lamp made in Africa, and a rag woven basket from Mexico.

Since it was pouring rain outside, the congenial owners offered to wrap and store my purchase until our group finished browsing the other terrific shops and galleries in downtown Astoria. They were, as another reviewer wrote, "very warm and welcoming".

We'll be adding Port Hopper to our must-see Astoria browsing/shopping list. If you enjoy high quality, unique, handmade crafts, I...
