I do NOT recommend this shop and wanted to share my experience in hopes others donât make the same mistake. I booked Bloominâ Crazy a year in advance for my wedding in August, 2021. We could not have been more disappointed with how unprofessional this establishment is. We had a set price and made the mistake of paying it all upfront. A mutual agreement was made to pick-up the flowers early morning of 8/26. The shop contacted us two days before the wedding to inform us they couldn't meet the agreed upon deadline, and gave us the option to pick it up the day of our wedding 8/27. With such late notice and no other options available we agreed to the last minute change in plans. My husband showed up to the shop at the posted business hours 9am-5pm. He waited for over an hour knocking and calling before making the tough decision to leave without the flowers⌠Our wedding was at noon in North Plains which is just over two hours from Astoria with terrible traffic due to the Hood to Coast triathlon. My husband barely made it in time to our wedding due to the flowers we never received. I donât wish that chaos on anyone on their wedding day. The shop agreed to a refund on 8/27 and took accountability initially. The new owner Kevin Berry decided to re-address the issue two weeks later on 9/12. Kevin contradicted and refused to honor the original agreement between the previous owner (Diane Berry) and myself. The original owner had passed away the day after our wedding putting us at the mercy of her inexperienced son and current owner Kevin Berry. Kevin informed us the company was not at fault for not having the flowers ready for pick-up at the agreed upon time and would NOT be honoring the refund. Keep in mind we tried on two separate occasions to get the flowers and they botched both. We were lied to about the refund so weâre out the product and our money. We are still trying to recover our personal property they requested we provide and have refused to return upon multiple requests. Legally Kevin has sworn in mediation and trial to return our personal items and still has not. I believe Bloominâ Crazy intentionally lied to us about the refund to keep our flowers and sell them in the storefront during peak wedding season on the coast. Save your money and keep looking! This shop lacks the skills to preform basic duties in a timely manner. I live locally and communicating with them or trying to pick up the flowers was impossible. I couldnât imagine trying to work with them from out of town. This business has and will extort you and handle your special day with little to no care.
Update 1/8/22: We took Bloomin Crazy Floral to small claims for the return of our money and stolen items. During our trial I saw pictures of the flowers for the first time and I couldn't help but laugh at the sloppy arrangements that looked nothing like what we had discussed. We were unsuccessful in getting out money back. Please note the new owner is a local patrol officer since 2016 and was born and raised in Astoria. Kevin will absolutely use his status to obtain special treatment for his personal gain. A quick Google search will provide you with everything you need to know. A tough lesson learned on never paying a business upfront and doing my research on said business. If youâre in need of a good florist look into Erickson Floral Co, or The Natural Nook! I live in another state & wanted to make sure that my friend in Warrenton, OR had an extra special Mother's Day, after a diff popular nationwide florist messed up the original order I had placed for her, thus leaving me scrambling to find a gift option just 1 day prior to Mother's Day. I contacted Bloomin Crazy Floral twice once in morning & again just before closing, to figure out what I could get nice for her & each staff member was great! With the help of my friend's dear husband who drove over to the florist after his wife got off work, we were able to get something nice in time. The staff let me pay over the phone from my home state & they even put some of the order aside for me while my friend was en route to pick it up for his wife. The staff also made helpful gift suggestions of their stocked items. When my friend went to pick up the gifts for his wife he was greeted w/the same amazing customer service I had received twice over the phone today. He sent me video text of some of the awesome things in the store which looked like a very nice, clean & well organized store. He also found a perfect gift that he also purchased for his wife there as a result. When I visit Oregon again for my 2nd time, I plan to visit Bloomin Crazy Floral in person because I was so impressed by them & I'm so very grateful they helped my bestie & I make sure his wife had lovely Mother's Day gifts in time for...

Our arrangement was to have the flowers done the day before on the 26th so we could set them up for our venue. We were told they wouldnât be ready till the day of and were told to pick them up in the morning before they opened. No one was at the shop in the morning making it impossible for me to collect my flowers and not be late to my own wedding. With zero sympathy, remorse, or any understanding the newly appointed owner refused our refund for the flowers we did not receive and would not deliver them to the venue either.
