Clint Raines - State Farm Insurance Agent — Local services in Atlanta

I've been with StateFarm exclusively since 1992. I recently needed to make some changes to my insurance. I spoke with two agents for other insurers, my agent that I used for over 20 years and no one satisfied my need to feel adaquatly insured. I stopped by Clint Raines office on a Friday. I read on the door that they work remotely on Friday. I didn't like that as I wanted to meet in person. I drove to another agent where I found someone who was at their office and after speaking I felt I should change from my current SF agent to this new SF agent. Within a week I realized I was just a number to this new agent and I called Clint Raines, on a Friday! Mo answered my call, listened to my story and proceeded to put me at ease as if he personally owned StateFarm. Mo walked me through my current policies making adjustments to find me the price and coverage that made me feel secure. Mo offered information about things SF offers that I was never told about even when asking previous agents direct questions. As a result of having more information I purchased other products that previous agents tried to get me to purchase, but never gave me a reason too. Clint's guy Mo listened to my concerns, gave me enough information that I could make an informed decision and as a result I'm looking forward to another 30+...

I have been offered insurance with other agencies offering lower costs, and I must say, that over the years my insurance has not always been the lowest cost, but for me its not just about how much you pay, it is always about the level of service I receive. I am proud to say that I appreciate how this agency tends to my insurance needs.

Years ago my house caught fire and burned completely down. As I stood in front of the burning home, I called my Clinton Raines agent's number from memory and spoke directly to a person I was familiar with (Jennifer) and she reassured me that everything would be alright. They handled everything and immediately got my family settled and set up with supplies we needed to start over. That is just one example of how they do their jobs.

I get calls and emails from the agency to update me, to let me know when I have forgotten to pay my premium, and to let us know if there is anything we need to pay attention to, as it relates to our coverage.

Worst place ever. Wont reply your emails and will try to find a way to rip you off. Kept getting calls and letters from them trying to increase my premium being that I had paid for 6 months already. The explanation being that they forgot to apply things to my account (old tickets for example) which had been discussed when I first got quoted. I got tricked into believing I was getting a better quote when in reality they kept changing up the values after final payment. I was forced to cancel my insurance early and switch back to all state. Currently trying to get them to refund me for the 3 months of service I paid for...
