Honestly, I’m not even sure where to begin. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any dining establishment—fast food or otherwise. The first issue was with the drive-through line, which was wrapped around the building. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, but the dining room was inexplicably closed despite a sign on the door indicating it should still have been open for another five hours. All the chairs were already stacked up, and it was clear they had no intention of allowing indoor dining. This disregard for their posted hours was frustrating, especially after a long day of working and adventuring. We decided to stay in the drive-through line and eventually placed our order. The first item we ordered was a kid’s meal, followed by the rest of our food. The staff member taking our order rushed me through the process, even though it was my first time at this particular location, and I wanted to take a moment to review the menu. Despite this, she repeated everything back to us, so I assumed the order was correct. When we reached the drive-through window, they took my payment and handed me my card back along with two drinks. However, the drinks were smaller than the sizes we ordered, and I couldn’t get their attention to address the issue because they had already closed the window and weren’t paying attention to us. We received our food and pulled into a parking spot to check the bag. Right away, we noticed the kid’s meal—the very first item we ordered—was missing. My girlfriend went inside to resolve the issue, but instead of fixing the problem, the staff member argued with her, claiming we never ordered the meal. To make matters worse, we couldn’t prove it because we were never given a receipt. Frustrated and without resolution, we decided to leave. As we drove away, we stopped somewhere else to grab food for the child and decided to check our meals more closely. The moment we opened the bags, an overwhelming smell of cigarettes hit us. The food reeked of it, and upon closer inspection, we found that half the food was burnt while the other half had mistakes—like ketchup on burgers we specifically requested without it. The food was completely inedible. We couldn’t even stomach a single bite. When we got home, we ended up throwing it all in the trash and eating something else. This experience was beyond unacceptable. From the poorly trained staff and incorrect orders to the inedible food that smelled and tasted terrible, everything about this visit was a failure. This is not how food service should operate, and I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone visit this location. Until there is a complete overhaul of the staff or significant improvements are made, I urge others to avoid this place entirely. If I could give this location a zero out of 1,000, I would.

Not very consistent. The first time I ate there the bbq was very bland. The second and third time the burgers and sides were great. However, tonight was the worst, I asked for a burger but actually got an onion sandwich. Was supposed to have onion rings and cheese bites as sides and got the residue of the onion rings and 4 cheese bites. The chicken quesadilla was bland but spicy. All this for $17 and the wonder why fast food is fast becoming a dead industry. Give us at least okay service, decent food and good prices consistently; and we will continue to do business with you. If it wasn't for me running late for work I would have had them make my order over. What I'm doing instead is not returning to the Cook Out. I should have stayed with my first impression of them, bland food and poor service. The Cook Out gets 2 stars because at least twice I got a good burger, but I've never gotten good bbq from them.

Visited the restaurant recently and ordered a double cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, onions and pickle. When placing the order, the young lady at the window repeated it back to me. She did a good job, bit the cooks/preparers did a terrible job on the food nor properly listened to the young lady at the window. Upon arriving home to possibly enjoy the sandwich, opened it to find no cheese on the sandwich, a butt end of tomato and a corner of lettuce. I don't blame the front line staff, but Management. There's no checks and balances nor proper training. I will not go back. Just keeping potential customers informed. Poor customer service

The young lady at the drive through window on the night shift can be inconsiderate and rude. I didn't hear her the first time she asked me for my order so she ignored me trying to place my order. I waited trying to place my order for almost 5 minutes causing for the line to be backed up. I repeatedly kept saying hello. Eventually I drove around and as soon as I pulled up I heard her take the next person's order. When I got to the window i explained to her that i was purposely being ignored and she said oh no we were experiencing technical difficulties. It's ironic that the persons before and after me had no issues ordering their food. The customer service sucked and so did the food.

Update... I decided to give this location another try after the first incident and I believe I know who or what the problem is. The night shift manager is a complete clown. A good manager sets the tone for the employees and I believe he is the reason why his employees think they can be rude to the customers. This time while at the drive thru I encountered the same problem as before. The person at the window said she couldn't hear my order so I spoke more clearer and louder and all of a sudden the manager jumped on the mic and had the audacity to say "talk regular." That is not customer service. He clearly took me as a joke. If going here at night speak loud and clear into the mic otherwise the employees will make a mockery of you or either ignore you while...

I went here on 10/5 through the drive thru. They forgot to put my hush puppies with my order so we pulled back in line. We was greeted at the window with a young woman who had a NASTY and hostile attitude. In her exact words “can you come in???” We say but you forgot our hushpuppies why you can’t just fix it here. She repeated herself with a hostile attitude again and said just come inside. I’m asking her why we can’t stay right here she just looks at me. She better be glad I wasn’t driving because I would’ve stayed right there. Y’all messed up my order but wanted me to come in????????? How does that work????? So boom me and my family go inside and I speak to the manager. Her attitude TRASH, she gave no apology at all and was not empathetic to The situation what so ever she just tried to quickly resolve us missing the hush puppies and get us out of there. I literally went back in there and returned that food. Because in my spirit babyyyyyyy that’s all ima say. Don’t work in customer service period employee or manager if you can’t resolve conflict. Oh and I forgot where we was that’s sad we have to go distances to get great customer service. Me and my spouse had to go back in there with our son like why should we have had to do that!??? Why y’all couldn’t fix it at the window????????????? But anyways I’m out. Y’all save your coins do not eat at this...
