BURGER WIN — Restaurant in Atlanta

I've been eating at Burger Win for about 4 years now since there really isn't much in terms of Chinese food in East Atlanta. The food has a tendency to be sub-par but at least it is consistent! Typically, the General Tso's, Orange Chicken taste really similar. If you get fried pot-stickers, they are REALLY fried (not that that's a bad thing), just saying. Also, the Kung Pao Chicken rarely has more than 7-10 pieces of chicken buried beneath a mass of vegetables and sauce so be weary when ordering things that aren't specifically meat dishes because they tend to go a little overboard on vegies. My only qualm with this place is that it is not open on Mondays. I'd recommend Burger Win if you are in East Atlanta and drunk with a need to get some grease in your tummy. Also, they're open until around 2:30 - 3:00 am so you can make it there in time after last...

The food here is really good, especially for the price and large size portions. It's not fancy but It's american style Chinese food done well, it's the best Chinese food restaurant in the area I've eaten at. Also the burger is pretty good, it's a premade patty but it's delicious and better than any fast food. It has a really backyard BBQ taste to it, better than cookout across the street imo. I get food from here weekly. The Lo Mein is especially good!!! but heads up they use bean sprouts which I omit. The mix burger with fried rice is a staple, I remove the chicken nuggets and eat them with the rice and cut up the hotdog and it back on the burger which is really good btw. Usually this place is spot on but last night was awful. My wife and I ordered fried rice and egg rolls, something that’s fairly simple and quick but my God it was terrible. My wife took two bites of the egg roll and spit it out it looked as if the grease was to hot when it was cooked because the outside was brown and crispy but the inside was just mauk and the rice was undercooked and not enough vegetables and we’ve been in and out the bathroom all day long from the couple of bites that we did eat..Maybe they were just having a bad night. This experience wasn’t a deal breaker but it’ll definitely be a while before we give it...
