Stay away!!! Do not come here if you have natural nails, or wish to maintain your healthy manicure because they will destroy you. I wish I could give "0" stars. I've been getting SNS for about a year now. When I walked in I asked for an SNS manicure. This means I'm expecting to sit, and soak off the manicure I already had...which I got done at their shop 2-3 weeks prior. The tech I end up with questioned the previous work as to imply it could have been better. (I actually loved my last manicure). I informed him that I frequented this same salon and I just need a new one. Hence why I'm back, hopefully to receive the same excellent work. He then proceeded to use a fake nail to lift the SNS from my real nails, and one by one I sat and watched this man rip my real nails to shreads. Not to mention the discomfort due to the fact I did not have a fake tip, or acrylic on my nails. Then he tried to tell me, "oh this is normal, especially if the SNS is a bit thicker. I saved you 30 mins. Do you want a cut down?" Now, I did not want a cut down. I want my length. My nails were not breaking. In fact I walked in with strong, growing nails that were all the same shape and size, I left with nails so short compared to what I wanted because this man wanted to rush and literally caused so much damage that I HAD to get a cut down. I said, "I guess so since you ripped my nails to shreds..." trying not to be the stereotype that snaps on the "poor lil" nail tech, but I'm pissed at this point. Then I'm asking for him to try and keep my shape. He didn't listen then either. I wanted to cry. My nails are now different lengths, shapes and one so short cause HE broke it... it kinda hurts. I ended up asking him to just stop. I paid. I left. I don't normally write reviews. But, save yourself the hassle. Do not go here. Not worth $75 for a manicure you hate because someone doesn't appreciate your wanting to wear your natural nails. It was not until I asked to just pay and be done that he wanted to become more accommodating. The stares then coming from the typical "buckhead" resident did not help matters either to say the least. I went on a Sunday afternoon with nothing but time. Not to be rushed as if I went on a lunch break or something. Now, I'm forced to cut them all down to start over. I'm forced to spend more money. My nails won't grow back evenly otherwise. I've been getting manicures for years. This by far was the worst experience, Esp in "Buckhead". Not to also mention, as I walked out, I witnessed 3-4 women sitting with hand warmers because they were getting their nails soaked properly. Maybe I should've been more demanding to be treated...
Read moreTHIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!!! My sister and I went to this salon on a Sunday afternoon with nothing but time to spare, we had gone to this salon in the past and had a completely different experience. I came in for a simple fill, but a couple of my nails were damaged so I opted to have them soaked off and completely new set put on. The man that was doing my nails proceeded to use an artificial nail to pop my nails off my fingers, and was so rough I had to say something eventually bc he was hurting me. he the proceeds to put the tips on and asks me what shape I wanted, I told him I wanted "coffin" and after the umpteenth time trying to explain to him how I wanted them I showed him a picture and he nodded as if he knew how to do it. after he put the tips on the shape he began filing WAS NOT the shape I wanted and he seemed like he just wasn't confident in the work he was doing. HE THEM, goes to put the acrylic overlay on and after he finished all ten of my fingers I literally had to just get up, PAY and leave(even though I shouldn't have paid for such awful service) the overlay was WAY to thick and he put so much on that my hands looked like the pink highlighter. I wanted to cry! I had to go to another nail salon and PAY ANOTHER person to fix what he messed up. not to mention he cut my REAL nails so short, its down to the meat on my fingertips. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY from this salon. its way to expensive for the horrible experience that you...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We came in around 7:55 and asked if we could get our nails done. They said yes and, knowing that they'd normally be closing around this time, I only requested a pedicure bc I figured they wouldn't wanna be there long enough to do both. But then they offered to do a manicure for me, too, so I said ok. Everything was great, until they finished around 8:50ish and lead me to the area where you dry your nails off. My friend and I were happily doing that, chatting as we dried our nails under the UV lamp, when suddenly, less than 5 minutes later, one of the ladies abruptly turns off the lights and declared, "We are leaving now. We've already stayed an extra hour for you." Umm ok, you CHOSE to stay an extra hour to make extra money, so now you should be able to wait 15 extra minutes while the customers you chose to service, last-minute, finish drying their nails. But no and because of her rude and abrupt kicking us out before our nails were dry (horrible customer service, btw, who does that?) my nail polish job was completely ruined as I rushed to roll down my leggings with my hands. So thanks, I basically paid $35 ($42 with tip) for this (see photos on Yelp, where I also left a review several months ago, but just passed the place and remembered I can also review them here). It was my first and LAST time ever going there!!! I wish I knew that ladies name, bc she should be fired, IMO. Horrible people skills and...
