They spent all this money doubling the size of the store and making it a pain to shop in when all they had to to to make customers happy was keep the old, smaller store open 24 hours. We don't need to walk a quarter of a mile across a store to shop. We need to be able to go in later if we need something. We certainly don't need a Starbucks in the store. Heck there's a brand new Starbucks being built down the street. Why do we need another one in Kroger? I very rarely go in here anymore. Most of the time I don't even have enough Kroger points to get 10 cents off of gas because I never go to Kroger anymore. Every now and then they'll have some little thing Walmart doesn't have and I'll go. And it's certainly not cheap to shop here. It's sad when people would rather go to Walmart.Oh, and they close their gas pumps at night before the store even closes. You can't pay at the pump after the store closes like you can at every other gas station on...
Read moreFirst off I would like to thank their customer care for taking care of this issue for me but it shouldn’t have been able to happen in the first place. We placed an online order for delivery because we were quarantined and somehow another customers order was also added to our order and we were charged an additional $85 for what was supposed to be a $30 order including the $10 delivery charge. All of these items were added as “substitutions” to our order even though they weren’t substituted for anything. The shopper should not be able to add substitutions to an order without marking them as a replacement for an item. I understand that things happen but especially in these times of financial uncertainty having an additional $85 missing from my bank account for 7-10 business days isn’t okay. Customer care was polite and did everything they could after getting a person on the phone from the...
Read moreKroger used to be the best grocery store around, they actually cared about their customers and took care of them, not anymore!!! Now they are all about themselves, no registers opened just self checks, which is fine for small items but not for your main grocery shopping. 10 people standing around while 20 customers try to cram into the small space at self checkout. No customer service at all. Even when they have registers opened the people running them are rude. Did you know that Kroger used to teach how to sack groceries correctly? Now your lucky to find anyone to sack at all and when they do they just throw your stuff all over the place. Kroger you are a pathetic company, instead of improving yourselves you just try to buy off your competitors. Time for some new leaders in this company, it all starts at the top. Useless as a...
