I gave it all day and I’m still pissed so here you go everyone. Called in today to pay my bill, as I have done for the past 4 years, and suddenly I’m not able to hear details on my account because I’m not an “authorized user”. The account is under my husband’s name but I have always been the one calling in to pay. In general, I don’t care that this is a policy, if it was communicated from the beginning I wouldn’t be writing this. But why are we randomly deciding to enforce policies? On a day where I need my wifi as I work from home and my husband is operating heavy equipment so he has to stop everything at work to call and handle it because you have decided today will be the day this policy is enforced. Telling me I need my husband’s permission to hear any details on my account is outrageous. I don’t want to hear “it’s a confidentiality policy” because seriously who cares about how much someone’s WiFi is? None of your employees cared up until this point. If you go back and listen to any of the calls it is me, you have never even heard from him once in the past 4 years. The courteous thing to do would be to say “Ok you know the amount that is usually paid, your email is on the account, this is always the phone number that calls to pay, and you have the same last name as the account holder. I’ll tell you your due date today but I need you to become an authorized user for future calls”. But how about instead you completely inconvenience your customer because you have decided to change how you operate with 0 warning, who gives a flying crap what it does to your customers day. I’ll be looking for a different provider, this company is so mismanaged I wouldn’t touch it with a...
Read moreCable channels all of a sudden say unauthorized when it is channels I pay for. I have to unplug box and restart at least three to four times per month. This happens when I'm recording shows on the dvr. They do not offer on demand even though I pay the same price for services that other companies offer that come with on demand. So I've missed the show because of substandard service. In this day those services are standard. They offer hbo and showtime but they cost more than going directly to hbo or showtime and paying these providers directly gives me on-demand options. They offer phone service but only allow calling within my county and charge outrageous if I want anything else. I want to support local but the statement they stand by is we don't offer any deals so everyone can have the same. They say we are just local and not s big company. I get that but you have to offer standard services for a price that is worth it. They charge the same money the bigger companies do and you get less services. Could I go with someone else. Yes but their reviews are worse and I have to have internet for work.
I just want what other cable companies across the US is offering their customers at the same price. Pay more for less is...
Read moreI cannot say enough great things about AES. I have been a customer for years and am extremely happy. Their customer service is right here in Auburn, and you can WALK IN if you have any issues. They answer the phone quickly, have fair prices, are knowledgeable, and work with you to make sure you're happy.
Another two reasons why I like them: no contracts, and no introductory rates. They give you a fair price, take it or leave it. You won't find you bill keeps going up every month as with other providers. Instead, you might be pleasantly surprised that they bumped up your speeds.
They do not have any monthly bandwidth caps or slowdowns after xxx GB per month.
Their TV service isn't quite as polished as some of the dish providers, but the TiVo service...
