JD Sports — Local services in Auburn

This store deserves zero stars! The two female managers at this store are rude and unprofessional. They lack basic training in customer service and engage in racial profiling. They will fabricate any lies they can come up with to not accept customers returns for brand new items purchased online or at another Finish Line or JD Sports store.

They rejected my return for a brand new (unworn) sneaker purchased online from Finish Line falsely claiming that “I tampered with the sneaker since according to them it is not possible to take the insoles out of sneakers in general and by the managers being able to remove the insoles from the sneaker then something must be wrong with the item”. It should be common sense at this point that you are able to take insoles out of shoes which is why companies exist today that exclusively sell insoles for shoes to improve comfort. The sneaker I presented for return was Jordan brand owned by Nike and I know (based on previous purchases and just common sense) for a fact that the insoles in these kinds of products are removable! If you don’t know that obvious fact as managers how did they hire you to sell shoes?

The real reason these rude managers refuse to accept returns is because they don’t want the added responsibility of having to sell returned merchandise. They will come up with any lie to reject your return (not abiding by Finish Line/JD Sports 45 day return policy) just so they can avoid having to sell more inventory.

Without question, this is the worst Finish Line store in the Massachusetts, and possibly the US. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being profiled, discriminated against, lied on, and treated poorly...

Very nice, clean and organized store just wish the staff matched it. I wanted to try on a pair of sneakers and asked one of the teenagers behind the counter if they could help and they looked at me as if I had three heads. One of them was eating chips, the other looked like I was bothering them, and the last girl didn’t even make eye contact with me. Someone else ended up giving me the shoes I wanted to try on and they were very nice but I hope the next time I go they I don’t have to encounter such rude, disrespectful behavior...

If I can put zero stars, I would, they stole my money and called me a thief when one of my packages weren’t delivered and I request requested for a replacement. The audacity of these people to call a customer a liar, and to say, I received a package when I have evidence that I actually did not. I ordered three things and only received two. This was for a wife’s birthday gift. I will never give this crooked company another sense of my hard...
