Petals & Sweets did an absolute perfect job in delivering in a timely matter a ‘pick me up’ for a dear friend.

Even though we are 6171 miles away in Croatia, I had a friend in Auburn going through a tough time in her life. My husband says “Let’s send flowers!” It was quite easy to go onto the website, scroll through many selections and pick out what we wanted. You can also customize even a pre-designed arrangement. The arrangement was beautiful (my friend sent a photo and she loved it!).

The service also included a personalized card written exactly how we wanted our message expressed. Thank you as the words were very much needed to be exact as we requested.

The other positive is they followed our delivery instructions exactly as they needed to call first due to a gated entrance. I also liked that an email was sent to me to let me know my order has been delivered. That is always appreciated when you are in a different country in a different time zone and you need to know about an order you placed over the internet!

Overall a very good experience. I would definitely recommend Petals & Sweets, a long time local Auburn business!

To be a balanced review, I do have to state that an extra $9.99 “Standard Service Fee” was added to my invoice. I don’t believe that should have been charged on top of a $9.50 Delivery Fee charge. WOW. I called this company based on their positive google reviews and wow, was I disappointed. I called for an arrangement of yellows and blues and said "very little green" or if blue & yellow couldn't be done, whatever was prettiest. I paid $65 after taxes and thought that would be enough for a pretty arrangement. What was delivered to my family was a weed-bush looking arrangement that was SO overfilled with green. But the problem doesn't stop there. I called to express my disappointment about the arrangement since it was not pretty at all, not my money's worth, and not what I asked for. The owner was quite disgruntled that I had called and argued with me that even though it wasnt what I asked for, she thought it was pretty. The owner was petty and said she could refund me $20 of the $65 OR she could go over to my family members house, pick up the flowers from them and rearrange it. Can you imagine having flowers PICKED UP from your family mourning a death? And here we are over 2 weeks later, and the money has not been refunded. I have been a loyal customer for years. I live in France, and have been sending flowers from you to my cousin who lives in Auburn. Here is her report to me when she recieved the flowers: "I know they cost a lot and the florist was a little disappointing. For one thing they cut the stems so short some weren’t even in water. I was going to call the florist but they don’t have their name on the card😏" The arrangements always have been nice, and delivered in good condition.
