All I can say is wow! We were devastated when we came home from a dinner out to find that our 1-year-old pup had chewed a cushion in our beautiful sectional. We thought she was past that point, but we were wrong. She had done the same thing months before to a swivel chair cushion, but at the time we chalked it up to puppyhood and flipped the cushion. But the sectional, that was a different thing. The piece was the large chaise lounge cushion, and there was not enough fabric on the other side to repair the damaged area. I did some exploring and found Denise. She was creative, confident, and fair. I had both swivel cushions reupholstered on one side with complementary fabric so we can use either side if we want. Denise repaired the sectional cushion in a beautiful and creative way using fabric from another cushion and a clever double-stiched seam to repair it - you'd never know a pup had had her way. I couldn't be any happier or more impressed with the work. Even my husband was blown away. The work was expert and the pricing was reasonable....

We had a family heirloom chair that Denise reupholstered for us. It was in desperate need of TLC. She worked with me to find the perfect fabric. It turned out gorgeous. Couldn’t be happier. Please note. Denise is an artist, truly dedicated to quality craftsmanship. If you are looking for a fast turnaround, you better turn around. She will not rush your project. She’s a one person shop with many customers so you must be patient and prepared to wait. It took six months for our chair to be completed from the day Denise and I chose the fabric. You will want to get into her queue at the first opportunity. It was well worth the wait. I plan on going back to her for my living room pieces...

I happened across Denise @ Delight Home Designs in such a round-about way, it's too lengthy to explain. Suffice it to say I did not know her and was not referred to her by anyone I knew but, I liked her when we first met & decided to take a chance, and I am so glad I did. She has beautifully re-upholstered my dining room chairs and then my kitchen chairs. I'm sure she could teach a Master class in Upholstery; she's that good. She’s also a ‘delight’ to consult with and has a great sense of color and fabric. Because working with Denise is so pleasurable it even makes the drive to Auburn seem like a trip around the block.
