Update 3: Third visit⦠Nathan on his second visit here to replace rollers this time. This was his suggestion, since the dryer was trying to chase us into the kitchen. All I gotta say is way to turn the review around. He did a great job. Iām glad that I chose Atomic Tech. I would definitely choose them again. Thank you!
Update 2: They came back and repaired it again. Although, Iām not happy with the response time to them coming back to do it again. They did come back to fix it at no additional charge. Hopefully this time it stays working.
Update: Note to self not leave a review so quick. Just after one use the dryer has failed. I feel jipped out of $230. Theyāre quick to get in the door to fix things, but maybe do not care as much once they have your money. I called to either get a refund, or have someone come and repair. I have not received a phone call back all day. Meanwhile my laundry is sitting and getting stinky. The girl only stated that the earliest they can come is 5 days from now. Guess Iāll have to waste even more money at the laundromat before my vacation, and then come back and buy a brand new dryer to replace the one that was supposedly ārepaired.ā
Steve came in and diagnosed my washer and dryer in minutes. He was very thorough, explaining each and every part of the machine. He even included some great tips on caring for the machines, how to use them properly, and some information about certain soaps that we use. Unfortunately, I have to get a new washer as the cost of the repair almost matched the price of a new washer, but thatās not their fault. He did fix the dryer though! šš¼...

This company was very helpful in answering our many questions through the Google Map chat. They provided us with multiple ways to stay in touch regarding the services they offer as well as the progress of the inspection, diagnosis, and repair. As I live on a base and have a busy work schedule, it was challenging for me to find time to visit their store and drop off our TV. However, they were very understanding and accommodating, even arranging for a technician to be available after normal working hours during the weekend to receive our TV.
After the diagnosis of the specific issue with the TV, they provided me with detailed photos of the failed hardware and a professional report of the specific tests that were conducted, along with the diagnosis and recommended actions I could take. The issue with our TV was related to mishandling during a previous international household goods move, but their comprehensive report and photos helped make our household goods claim process smooth.

Why "Great?"...because Atomic Tech technician BRENT was ultra professional: great communication by text and in person, efficient in his diagnosis and effective in his mitigative response (id of what problem was and what part needed replacing). He clearly knew what he was doing...not his first rodeo...and he kept me...the layperson...informed and clear on what was being done and what the time table would be for ultimate resolution. Took 2 visits over the course of a week. First came to assess problem, which took maybe 20 minutes (so not disruptive to day at all) and then a few days to clear the purchase of the needed part with the Home Warranty company, and then the follow-up visit to install it...which took only 20 minutes or so as well. Like I said...BRENT knew what he was doing. I should further note that Brent's appearance was one of professionalism and self respect. He likewise respected my home and Dryer...working with care not to scratch or damage anything. I wish all service calls were like this one provided by BRENT and the Atomic Tech...
