They were professional and super nice. Update: customer service was still great. My fiancé and I went there to have my ring resized from a 6 to a 5. My fiancé did not purchase the ring from there, just so you know, it's an emerald cut with a gold band. So they let us know that it will be 2 weeks. My fiancé gets the call its ready and he goes to pick it up so he can surprise me that its back. My fiancé gets the ring out the bag it's an emerald cut but the band is silver or sterling silver. It is a size 5. I'm happy its back but is not the color it was when it was given to be resized. We head back to the store and we were told that it was a gold plating coat and that the personnel who resized it had to file the gold plating off to cut and etc. The other young lady said she wrote it on the slip they filled out, that belongs to them, but no one told us. To me, okay that's fine, but why is it not returned gold plated?? It was not told to us when we brought it in that it would come back silver nor did anyone call us to explain when it got back that it's no longer gold but silver. They explain they can officiate the wedding, can also help us look for some wedding bands, but no oh by the way because this on the inside of the ring has this it means its coated and they would have to file that coating off and not replace the coating when they resize it and send it back. Ma'am we not in the line of jewelry business to know what them numbers mean inside the ring.. I get it takes a lot to reconstruct a ring for resizing, but send it back the color it was when you received it. To me thats logical, how do you show the customer the item is back but not in its original color.... thats stress on the bride and the groom that do not need to be there. We was calm. Customer service said they will ask if the coating can be replaced back on. Or another option get one of their bands and set the stone in it. Um I was sure that band would not be on the house. I do not know how much my fiancé paid for the ring.. but I know its plus $220 more dollars worth.. So they were able to send it back to get recoated. However not only did my fiancé pay $160 to get it resized but also another $60 to get them to put the gold plated coating back on it. It should have been free when it was not conveyed about the personnel not putting the coating back on it or not mentioned to us that they would have to file the coating off and not replace it. I was already frustrated the resizing cost so much. Goodness. Just know that did not make sense. I gave 3 stars because returning a ring not in the coating it was sent off is bananas. Make...
Read moreStaff was very nice and attentive. They have many options and styles of rings, earrings, you name it. Took two stars off for giving me the run around. My experience with Helzberg Diamonds has been like listening to one song over and over great at first, but getting annoying now. I bought a really nice wedding anniversary ring very happy with the quality and the sales experience was great my wife had a blast trying on rings and she found a couple of that she fell in love with and we got a free Microsoft Surface Pro 2! HD has great financial options and got me approved for a great plan even thou my credit score it not up to par. So, the ring we picked out has a grading report and a GSI number. They said the professional report would be in soon (3-4 weeks) I had no problem with the time, but we need that report to put the stone on our insurance. We've stopped by the mall once our twice around the 3 week mark and my sales person said it hasn't arrived yet. So, I gave them about 8 more weeks. I stopped in yesterday and talked to someone other then my salesperson and they said my report hadn't been ordered. Now I have to wait another 3-4 weeks. HD it's great unless they need to follow thorugh on a promise then you get the runaround. I've bought from here multiple times and this is the most frustrating time.
I finally got my GSI...
Read moreI lost my ring so my husband and I went in and I opened a credit card. We put the partial balance on the one I opened and the rest on one he already had. Well low and behold we were moving some furniture around in my room and found the old ring so I did feel bad but we had to cancel the new ring before it was too late. The old ring is still under warranty and from Helzberg as well. From start to finish the employees were great and helped out in returning and said the full balance would be refunded. This isnât about them, itâs about Helzberg reporting and messing up my credit with derogatory marks which started off as five dollars. This company never sent one bill to say I owed anything. I wouldâve thought if you did a return it wouldâve been a 0 balance, nope. Three months which turned into 22 and then I finally get a bill after they made a few dollars I guess and I had to pay. Only thing customer service could say was it was interest. Off of 0 how??? Sounds like shady practices to me and now I have to contact the credit bureaus to get this mess disputed off my credit smh! Needless to say I closed out this account and will never do business with these folks again unless its to get my old ring cleaned to stay...
