Absolutely terrible customer service! I was shopping with family on 3/30/22 and happened to see a Razor Pocket Mod 24V miniature Euro style Electric scooter/Moped in Purple color with a big sign on it stating 259.00. I thought about it and ended up leaving without it. My daughter's birthday party was the following Saturday and I was searching for a great gift for her. On Friday 04/01/22 (night before the party), I went back to the Target in Augusta, Maine and there it was with the sign still on it. I asked for assistance getting the box out of the pile of ride on toys, an associate (who did not notice anything wrong with the sign that clearly marked the item at 259.00) wheeled it down to the front where the cashier rang it up for almost 500.00. I said no there is a sign on it back there that states 259.00! The cashier said "oh that's for the pink one that's smaller." I said no it says right on the sign "Purple". So the associate that wheeled it down goes walking back to check. As I followed behind, as I got there she had ripped off the sign and folded it up, only showing me the corner that had "12/29 " on it in much smaller print. She said "oh this is someone's mistake, they just never removed the sign. This was a Christmas special." It is APRIL! Unexcusable! They offered me nothing. She said "no one will price match that" but told me the lady at front would have the final say as she was walking off. When I got to the front she was already wheeling off the item to put it back and the cashier lady said "I cannot price adjust anything over 20.00". That is false advertisement! No consumer would notice the small 12/29 in the corner nor would anyone think those signs were from Christmas being in April. No letting me talk to a manager, nothing. Just nope too bad there's the door. Target definitely does not value their customers. I'd give them a zero if possible! The same exact item is advertised at Walmart for 298.00 - just needs to be ordered. Guess she will get it later than her party...
   Read moreStopped in today to by Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker on 4K/Blu-ray and Digital copy. They dad some but not the one advertised . I asker customer service and i was shown how to order it online,it left me disappointed because I wanted it today. I was told they didnât have it in stock on the floor and in the back and wouldnât get any others in soon. This target location is not a great location itâs under stocked,the only thing they got going is they are friendly but the customer service is not great . Quantity of items are limited and i walked out i was told hopefully you can find it somewhere else . I am seriously thinking of not doing business at this location because this customer service that is lousy isnât the first time this has happened at this location. Other target locations are similar they stock the shelves Slowly and at a inconvenient time with movies at a lot of locations ,having movies shipped is the only Choice to avoid this inconvenience itâs waiting and it arriving later tgan when released,you can by it digitally but if you like to collect blu rays/4K on a disk with booklet and especially target exclusives its the only alternative. The customer service Telling me hopefully you can get it somewhere else today well I probably could but to get the target exclusives i wanted to get it from target thats how educated their customer service is here . Its a disappointment and target used to be great to buy movies but they have gone down hill especially at this Augusta...
   Read moreUpdate for 7/2021: Today I went shopping at this store and had a far worse experience all because of one employee. I have lowered my stars because of this experience. I was walking around with my brother while pushing a shopping cart, and I noticed that one security officer was somewhat following us. He peeked around the aisles to see if we were there, it was somewhat creepy. At one point we were just walking down one of the main aisles and I noticed that he was about 15 feet behind us. I stopped and waited for him to pass. He approached us and said that someone complained about us. I asked him what we did wrong and he said that we needed to âcalm downâ. We werenât doing anything wrong or causing a problem. Later, I was in one of the toy aisles with my little cousins. He said that they were causing a issue by looking at and touching the toys. He left our aisle and went to the people in the aisle next to us to tell them that they were causing a problem. What a ridiculous experience. I have visited this store many times, as well as other stores, and have never had this issue.
