Customer service is terrible! Where is all the help/ employees? It was like a ghost town in there. In the computer section there was NO EMPLOYEES ANYWHERE!! I had to wait 15 minutes to get help to purchach a $1000 dollar laptop. Then they had no floor models of the laptop in the store to look at. Bummer! Then upon ordering they didnt have any options for delivery. We didn't want it delivered on our door step when we weren't home and have someone possibly steal it which is very common these days and wanted someone to sign for it, but they didn't have that option. Then we said we'll come to the store to pick it up when it arrives. They didn't have Best Buy store pickup option. WHAT!! What a crock!! Then the employee (Robby) acted like he was late to go to lunch or clock out or just didnt want to be there. Acted impatient in the extreme. Then, it's going to take 11 days to get out laptop! I know I know I shouldn't complain. If I don't like it go somewhere else. But it's such an awesome gaming laptop on sale I had to have it!!!! I just wish Best Buy was Best Buy again...In the old days it was full of customers and great customer service and new and awesome products and now its like a run down Radio Shack with terrible customer service and no customers in the store. No floor models of what your interested in to buy. Ultmately...in the future I will do all in my power to find what i need somewhere else, some other store chain. I fear Best Buys Best days are behind them and they are hanging on...
Read moreI contacted by phone to get info on there total tech support, I purchased there yearly plan for $199.99 for the purpose of having a stereo head unit installed in my vehicle. I specifically asked if they install units that were not purchased from them and the agent assured me they did. After purchase I scheduled an appointment for the installation which was 3 weeks out. Once I arrived for the installation I was then informed that they needed to look at my unit to decide if they would or would not install it. After looking the technician which was very unfriendly and appeared to either not like his job or was not looking forward to doing my installation even though he had no other customers in the garage, he told me that he's turned down many customers with my type of head unit, he then went to ask his manager and came back and informed me that his manager said "probably not" and that they couldn't do the installation. I then asked if I could just purchase a similar head unit from them. He told me they have NO head units in stock!! Best buy that has a garage specifically for installing head units and sound systems in vehicles had NO head units in stock?! I was shocked and very disappointed that I had waited 3 weeks for absolutely NOTHING! They did in fact give me my money back for the purchase of the total tech support which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1! But I will never again go to best buy...
Read moreCannot thank Logan enough and also Isaiah for their help when we accidentally damaged the screen to a brand new monitor while moving it and when purchasing we were told accidental damage, spills, etc. was covered which we specifically asked as we had a steam deck got through steam, and they would not cover it when our house burned down which we didn’t know so now we ask the specifics just to know. Well, what we were told was covered was not actually included in the coverage purchased. We were so disappointed to hear that today when we came in to try to get a replacement or repair but then Isaiah got Logan and we explained the situation to them both, they were both understanding, kind & super helpful! Logan honored what we were told by the employee who sold us the monitor and did an exception return for us due to being told that certain things were covered that we’re not actually covered. We made sure it would not get that employee in trouble either as they probably believed it did cover that as they weren’t a sales staff we were told. We have had a really hard time the last couple months and this was the cherry on the top of it all until Logan and Isaiah helped make the situation right & even though they don’t cover damage, they did make an exception for us. They didn’t have to, but they did and we can’t say how much we appreciate that. Great service & great team you have & we are very happy...
