We have been to this store a few times now for my engagement ring and our wedding bands. The first girl was absolutely amazing and dealt with me for about 3 hours just to pick out the ring I loved. We were told to come back at 7 to pick up the ring after having it sized.. I thought it was kinda weird cause that gave them 4 hours to size it, and we were the only customers in the store for quite some time. So we get there not even 10 mins early, and wow the lady we talked to was so rude! Got my ring and it fit perfectly. Then we went back for our wedding bands, and one person was gonna help us but had to leave, and I was so happy cus she was just super rude and obviously didn't wanna do her job. The lady who replaced her was awesome, helped me find the perfect band. I have never even heard of a ring enhancer to be in place of a wedding band before so I asked for opinions.. you would think I asked them a super hard question! They were just so rude and pretty much acted like I asked them an algebra question.. but we got it figured out, after some more frustration. When I went to try my ring on it didn't fit! It was much too tight. The gemologist was quite adamant with me keeping it the way it was, and the sales person was the exact opposite. After talking to my fiancé it was quite obvious that it didn't fit because making the ring "thicker" made it not fit my finger right.. you would think that people working at a jewelry store could figure that out right? Nope! So we were told to come back at 10:30 the next morning.. we showed up at 2, and the ring still wasn't done! I was so tired of playing this waiting game, but once again whatever. So I tried the ring on and it was still too tight.. so the sales person went back to talk to the gemologist and he obviously wasn't happy.. sorry that he had to do his job.. not. So went back to pick it up again and we had to wait another 20 mins when they told us maybe 10.. so basically I do not reccomend going to this location. They are pushy, rude, and can't have your jewelry done when they...
Read moreI purchased my wife's wedding ring set at another location. I have since moved and use this location for clesning/repairs. We had them sodder the wedding band and engagement ring together, and eventually had them take it apart because it looked absolutely horrible. Their excuse was, "the ring is a funny shape so it was hard to sodder together." Are you kidding me??? I am a certified welder and have been in the trade for over 2 years now. Do you know how many pieces of metal I've welded with imperfect fit ups and still made it look good? That was totally unacceptable to me. When we received the rings after they took them back apart the bottom of the engagement ring shank was paper thin. (no joke) I looked at the Jen tel gentleman who handed me the ring and asked him if it was strong enough to even hold itself together. He responded with a clueless face and a shrug of the shoulders. Nothing more........ Really??? Now I am trying to get the ring back after my wife dropped the ring off for repair. One of the diamonds fell out for about the 5th time..... My wife was worried I might not be able to get the ring because she didn't put my name of the slip. I told her not to worry about it. After all I did purchase the ring in full with cash in my name. They told me they couldn't give it to me because my name wasn't on the paperwork, and my wife was at work so she didn't answer her phone. After telling them I purchased the ring and asked them to pull up the record of it all he said was it's a very strict policy and he can't to anything, and then refused to pull any records. Again, are you kidding me???? I purchased the ring and you aren't even willing to pull up a record of the transaction to prove it. I would say this is the last time I'm ever coming back to this place, but I have no doubt I'll be back within a year replacing yet another diamond that...
Read moreSooo, I got engaged January 4, 2025. And my fiancée placed the most beautiful ring, on my finger after he proposed. I have never taken that ring off my finger since that day. Suddenly on August 2nd, I felt something scratchy on the palm side of my ring finger. I looked and the ring was broken. I video called my fiancée and told him, and he told me to take it to Jared’s. I did, & the promised to have it ready for me the Monday, August 4th. I couldn’t get off work on time so I picked it up Tuesday, August 4th. In the store, I didn’t notice anything; but once I made it back to work, while still in the car finishing my sandwich, I noticed that it wasn’t quite prepared and I could still see a small break on the side and also that it thinned out on one side. So I took it back the following day; they told me it would be ready for pick-up by Friday, August 8th. The AGM Joshua Daniels called and spoke with my fiancée, and asked permission to replace my ring with a brand new one, he agreed, and when I got there on lunch break to pick it up, it was definitely a brand new, exact replica of the one he proposed to me with… though I was sentimentally tied to the broken one, my new one is exactly the same. I must say, that my personal experience with this store’s sales clerks/personnel was awesome… everyone there had very pleasant attitudes and greeted me with smiles, made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer, and Mr Daniels went above what I consider 5-Star service, when it came to making me happy with my ring. My future husband was very, very pleased. Thank You Jared’s of Augusta staff! You still hold the record of being “Top of the Line” in jewelry with Exceptional, Aim to Please Service! Thank you!...
