This shopping center has a lot of wonderful small businesses that are unique in their own way. We'll be back for return visits to check out the rest of the shops, many of them look very promising.

The place itself is very clean — parallel parking and handicap parking is available on the upper level if you can snag a spot.

My own personal recommendations would be the following:

— Breakfast or Brunch (Bodega Ultima): They open early and have amazing mimosas, served by glass or by pitcher. The blood orange mimosas are fantastic. We really love their smoked salmon bagels. — Lunch or Dinner (French Market Grille): Ask for Desmond! Very fresh and delicious Cajun/Creole food. Best service. Prices are very affordable! — Upscale Dinner (Able Brown): Ask for Sydney! This one is priced a little bit higher, but you will get a more premium experience. Delicious and fresh offerings, big emphasis on seafood. Perfect for a romantic evening for two.

Surry Center is a little like stumbling into "Alice in Wonderland's" changing mirrors in that one might first think he is here to buy medicine, but as time travels slowly as well as fast in the land of smoke and mirrors, there is such a diverse inventory that would appeal to all ages--the young and the young in head. There multi-colored hats, pocketbooks, avant-garde dresses and an endless list of foods, candies, vitamins, bandaids, etc. It would be like listing the vocabulary in the old physical OED if asked to describe all the tantalizing pleasures of the Surry Center Pharmacy. Oh, and there is a small post office on the premises as well. If only there were more than 24...

💜💚💙💛❤ Surrey Center!! Love all the shops & restaurants! Such a fun atmosphere. Surrey Center is known for it's chic dining & upscale boutiques. There is also a fun "night scene", as many of the restaurants & bars have specials & are open late. Today we went for lunch & a bit of shopping. The food was superb, with very kind wait staff.
