New York Butcher Shoppe — Restaurant in Augusta

They have everything, I was looking for here and everything was so fresh. The young man helping and making sandwiches was so pleasant I had left to checkout the fresh market corned beef too but it surprisingly wasn’t nearly as good or fresh so I turnaround and went back 5 minutes later to the New York butcher shop and the same guy started laughing when he saw me and then I seen they had the same cappicola I used to buy when my family was stationed in New York and almost knock the table over. I have not been able to find this cappicola in years 🤤. The Greek macaroni salad was good. My family and I will definitely be going back for sandwiches and other meats. I love this place and refer to it as "my butcher". The owner is amazing, it really is a place that treats you like family after going a few times. The USDA Prime they offer is incredible, I always get a big prime rib every Christmas and it's my favorite time if the year. This place simply cant be beat. Just make sure you call ahead when 4 days or holidays are coming up to reserve your meat. This place is popular for good reason and they do get sold out fast by the people in the know. I love that I live in a city with a butcher shop like this. They have a large selection of obviously high quality meats as one would expect. However, their ready to cook and ready to eat selection is just as cool. I don't know what it is about their chicken parmesan, but I've never done it as well as they do it. Pickles, wines, beer, and everything charcuterie. They were very helpful with a special order of mine, and I heard they cater too. Skip the grocery store for their quality...
