See why Out of the Attic Antiques in Aurora quickly became a favorite antique store! Collectibles for everyone from vintage toys, records, coins, Pokémon, and much more! #thrifting #vintage #smallbusiness #shoplocal

Checked out this antique store today in Aurora, near the Fox Valley mall. They had a variety of trinkets, sports collectibles and everything else in between. I feel like you could spend hours in here just looking at everything. #antique
Been ThereBeen There
Fairly massive interior, quite deceptive looking from the entrance. ■Parking is a shared lot with other businesses. ■Friendly ladies that work there, though, slight attitude from one but maybe it's just how she is. Otherwise, no problem. ■You'll see all the staples of this kind of shop: Baseball cards, Barbies, Vinyl records... Star Trek TNG. Coins, Comics, Beanie Babies, small Furniture, Board Games, Jewelry, etc. ■Tons of random things to look at, it may take you half a day to really look at it all. ■Other antique stores I've been to welcome a bit of haggling, not here.

I am native from Belgium and visiting Aurora for business purpose since 20 years: I really discovered this shop two years ago, after searching for flea market events since several years. As my schedule can hardly manage any preset date for such events,I had a hard time finding some shops that provide wide coverage of USA antiques.

This shop is amazing on its offering, both from variety and prices: from typical Americana to WW 2 militaria (Including German bayonets and helmets) to books, tools, everyday vintage objects such as corkscrew, record plates, railways spikes, and advertising objects... You name it. You can find quite expensive items as well as small items starting at 50¢ or 2$.

During my two last travel, I spend each time half a day looking around and discovering new stuff. Both owners were very friendly and helpful to point out flea market events that could be attended in a future visit.

In short, highly recommended and don't be filled by the size of the store front, you will find that shop depth is way bigger and for sure full of items and probably some treasures...

I love going antique shopping all over the place and decided to stop here since I was in the area after attending a baby shower. Right away things didn’t feel right. When me and my wife walked in we were just looked at unwelcoming, not even a hello or welcome. Not Turing this into some PC convo but I am Hispanic. We found some decent things, but the older gentleman who I presume is one of the owners just kept following us everywhere we went, he even hawk eyed us when we were just looking at records, we felt rushed and uncomfortable as he walked past us for the thousandth time. He didn’t even say a word.I had to say hello to him and he didn’t say anything back. We just got frustrated and put everything we were going to buy back and left the store. Of course as I get into my car I look at the exit of the store and see the old man just looking as us either presuming or making sure we didn’t steal anything. I have never felt so unwelcome and would never...

Store owners can be a real piece of work. The other day they made my mother in law very upset. She got a rude reception and insulting and greedy attitude just because she only spoke Spanish and changed her mind on a couple of items. They always follow you around the store to the point you feel you are being watched and snatch any item you happen to hold in your hands to bring up front for check out. Fyi, that does not constitute a final transaction, and customers are free to decide what they actually want to purchase at the end. A grumpy attitude is no way to treat elderly. Very disappointing service and a very good way to lose customers. Some dealers have reasonably priced and interesting items, but most are just having an overpriced garage sale with junky stuff. There are many other options out there for harassment-free...
