I enjoy the family atmosphere at Blueberry Hill. Staff is truly welcoming and attentive. Food always delicious. Parking can be a struggle but it's so worth it 😀
I'm a parent to a gifted son with Autism. I'm never ashamed or apologetic to what God bless me to raise. I want to acknowledge the waitress we always have at Blueberry Aurora. I don't know her name but I appreciate how she treat both my kids the same. She always make sure my kids are okay and she engage with my son. (that means a lot to me)
Some establishment are so concern how other guest feel instead of educating their staff and creating an environment for everyone to enjoy. I encourage other parents with gifted kids to visit Blueberry in Aurora to experience the atmosphere that is truly judgement free.
I recently visited Blueberry Hill on May 25, 2019 to have what I was hoping to be another great experience kinda turned into a, "wish I cooked at home" experience. My waitress behavior towards my children and I was so unpleasant. Her tone, attitude, how she seemed so annoyed when I asked for a kid menu. My daughter is 9 don't judge height she doesn't eat huge. I truly miss the old staff. More of a personal nicer welcoming staff. Warm smiles and happy to make the customer feel welcome.
Today will be my last visit. The food is always a A+++ but the experience with staff was worth my kids and I do find a new...
Read moreI initially gave this place three stars but now changing to one because my last visit wasn’t nice. The waitress named Rosa was very rude. When I asked her a basic question, she got annoyed and made a face as if I said something stupid. All I wanted was to upgrade my pancakes that come with seafood omelet to banana pecan pancakes. And I wanted a full stack of pancakes instead of only two. I told her I was ok paying extra but her facial reaction was very rude and said she couldn’t do it. I told her that the waitress last time did it for us with no issues but her response was” I don’t know who did it for you but I can’t do it”. because of that, I ended up not ordering the omelette but she didn’t even try to make a suggestion and help me make a better decision. I understand if you cannot fulfill my request but you don’t have to be rude and make me feel dumb.
Pervious Comment Their food doesn’t have enough salt. I had a seafood omelet but it didn’t have much flavor just because it lacked salt. I don’t remember what my wife had but she also thought her food didn’t have enough salt. It could be a good thing if you are health cautious but if you prefer flavor, you may not be too happy. The only reason I am giving them three stars instead of one is that both of us loved their pancakes and our waitress was very nice. I had banana pecan pancakes and they...
Read moreNot a big fan. Pre-covid, I heard so many great things about this place. Now one year since covid, and I feel like Covid has affected their MOJO. They did have distanced-tables, but chairs were turned on top of the tables to signal that they were closed off. And chairs and tables were stacked in the entrance way by the door when you first walk in. Seeing the hallway stacked of chairs/tables and chairs turned on tables, it gives a feel like the place is closed. You feel unwanted. Patrons were sitting at tables eating, and they looked unhappy. They were eating at a table that had chairs on tables in front of them and behind them. That's not a welcoming atmosphere. There was no energy, no vibe, no one was talking, no music playing..the place was quiet. I could only hear the cooks in the back talking to each other. The food was ok, average st best. Nothing to brag about. I hope they figure out what they are going to do with the tables by the front door and the stack of boxes in the corner that I sat nearby. That corner looked like a permanent home for the boxes, and that's not a good look, especially when customers sit near them and they can...
