Got engaged on August 14, 2015, LOVED MY RING! had to get it sized and didn't want to take it off, but had to let it go so that I could wear it with no worries. Took it back to Kay's August 20, 2015 to have it sent out to be sized, (pretty sad day for me) and was told it would take anywhere from 10 to 14 days, due date to be returned was 9/1/2015. I called around August 29th to get status in hopes that it came in early. spoke to a young lady who was so rude, who told me "well don't you have the repair ticket? I stated yes I do. She continued to tell me "well as you can see the date on the ticket has a return date of 9/3/15 and that's the date you should expect it to be returned"! I kindly hung the phone up and took a deep breath and prayed about it..."A" ring was returned to the store on 9/1/15, earlier than expected, and I immediately ran to the mall to pick it up. Wel, when the store employee took it out the bag and handed it to me, it look a lot smaller, but thats to be expected as my finger is pretty small. I put the ring on and noticed something was just not right, I could put my finger on it, but I told him something just looks different. He was polite and stated, "we here at Kay are all about providing good service and if something is not right we will fix it". I told him, I will take it home to my fiancee and let him look at it and if we have any problems we will be back. Got home showed him and he immediately said "that's not the ring i bought"!!!! We took it back that evening and come to find out it was not the same ring as my initial ring is 2 carats and the ring returned to us was 1 1/2 carats...The manager and her sales person were trying to say it was dirty diamonds and they may have some polish in them. I went to the area where a ring just like the initial ring sat and had them pull it out the case to compare and thats how we found out the ring returned to me and the ring we sent off were oh so different! I hope this is not happening to other couples here in Colorado or anywhere else in the world. I just wanted to put my story out here for...
Read moreI haven’t left a review for a business in a long time but my experience at Kay in the Aurora Town Center went beyond my expectations. Brittany, Sarah and Edgar are absolute professionals and 110% dedicated to you and your individual experience, style and preference. I came in to the store ~4 weeks ago to trade in my existing Kay diamond jewelry for new. I LOVE this program as I’m someone who likes to switch up my diamond jewelry every few years - as long as it's diamond and from Kay, you can trade in your jewelry for new styles. Brittany and Sarah recognized they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for in store and suggested I may get the most out of the upcoming Diamond show 10/11 where I could pick and choose my stones and setting and create something truly original. They were correct. I scheduled an appt. for the in-store diamond show and received text reminders which was helpful and appreciated. I came in for my appt on 10/11 and had an exclusive experience dedicated to finding exactly what I had in mind - from the individual Diamond to the setting and chain - for my new necklace. Not to mention the price on the GIA certified natural stone was incredible due to the diamond show! I was also able to trade in a set of natural diamond drop earrings to go toward my new purchase. Like I said, love the trade in program. I waited 15 minutes for my stone to be set and polished and walked out with a truly unique experience and one-of-a-kind necklace. I’m SO happy! My husband was also very impressed and pleased when I got home. This is a piece I will wear every single day. I highly recommend this location and team as well as their diamond shows for an exclusive experience and one-of-a-kind piece that you won't find in store or regular inventory. I’ll be returning for my next trade in and upgrade to solitaire earrings soon. 5 star team and experience....
Read moreIf I could give them 10 stars I would. I went in with my cousin to look at her engagement ring, just happened to mention to the girl that the ring I wanted they no longer make/sell and how upset I was because we couldn't find one like it. I told her I had tried it on several times over the last couple years, and how in love with it I was. She asked me if I have a picture of it... of course I did it was my dream ring! She took the picture and the item number and off she went!
She looked through the system and saw the item number had been changed since it was no longer available. She had me pull up how I could find it on their site even though they didn't have it anymore. She took the time and called their headquarters, different locations and warehouses. She FOUND ONE LEFT. ONLY ONE. She brought her manager over and asked for help to make sure it was the right one and that they could get it for me in a week or so, so that hopefully I could take advantage of a sale price since it was now considered clearance.
She ordered it, I could not believe it. I called my fiance right away... my cousin and I were in shock. She called a few days later to let me know it had arrived and was the correct ring. So my fiance and I went in and picked it up!!!!! I couldn't have been more amazed by her service. Her name was Cailey Bice... so if you go in definitely see her. She made our love story complete by tracking down the ring...
