This is the location closest to my work and I have visited a couple times before when on lunch. They didn't have what I wanted in stock and I didn't have to seek out help so until today I had no interactions with their staff.
Once again they did not have what I wanted in stock so I went to the back service desk for help. I step into line behind someone already waiting and watch the two employees continue to laugh and chit chat as they ignore the line. A few minutes later they turn to us and ask if they can help. The lady that helped me was pleasant but didn't know how to use their hand held device to look up items. After the other employee finished with his customer he came over to help me. He was pleasant too. He had to call the people in the back to track down the item. After waiting almost 10 minutes that employee arrived. She was very friendly and came with multiple sizes just incase, that was awesome and very unexpected.
I grabbed the size I needed and went to the registers. 2 register's open for over 10 people. The one cashier I could see moved at a speed that was meant to run out the clock before going home. He looked over the waiting line multiple times, never speed up and never called for help. After someone waiting in line went up to him and left the items there and left did the cashier finally call for help, he is still on the same customer.
Next cashier comes and starts helping. She at least is moving faster then the fist cashier but looks upset or bothered. Takes them 5-10 minutes longer before the 3 people in front of are helped. Through the entire time the first cashier never picks up his speed.
Most of the store looks in good shape but there are areas, like the service desk/area, that are covered in dust and need some upkeep.
Kohl's product are a higher cost, part of that cost is the store and the staff. When I go to a location and see these conditions ot makes me not want to shop at any Kohl's locations. For now I will just skip this one and stick to the one...
Read moreWell I must point out several things about this amazing store. This particular store exhibits exemplary standards. I would give them a higher rating on the review if it were possible. Every one who leaves a review on any location must keep in mind that there are many factors when reviewing or rating a company. It's not truly a stores fault or it's employees on how much they charge for their merchandise. It's usually many other factors involved. Corporate, stores location. County taxes and so forth. Many thing can determine prices. For example even leaving a bad review. The lower the reviews. The less people visit and buy. The more profitable a company is. The more they can share back to the community. Also a lot of companies base their inventory upon what actually sells. Not every 9ne can be please. Say for example the store orders 100 white pairs of panty hose and 50 black. A large wedding takes place and 100 pairs are bought by consumers. There is no amount of planning that can predict such an occurrence. So please think about what your review truly contains and what your really reviewing. Try and view a store for it's totality and not a simple portion of it. In doing so you can see the totality of what the store is and can be. It also gives the store a chance to really prepare, train and see things as a totality also. Thus helping every one grow and evolve together as...
Read moreI frequently patronize this store and my husband is a Kohl's Rewards Member. We make substantial purchases at this location, including spending over a couple of hundred dollars at Kohlâs Sephora in August for my daughter's birthday. Today, we visited the store to browse winter clothing for myself, and upon entry, encountered an issue. As part of the Kohl's Cash Giveaway, an associate was stationed at the front door distributing coupons. Despite my husband, a person of color, entering first with our 9-year-old biracial daughter, the associate seemed to discriminate against him. She looked him up and down, ignored him, focused on the coupons, and then averted her gaze. Only when I approached her did she hand me the coupon, seemingly based on my being a white woman. The blatant display of racism was deeply distressing, especially considering the current year. I find it perplexing, as the associate herself was not of white descent but of Middle Eastern heritage. Given that my 9-year-old daughter, who is of mixed race, witnessed this unjust treatment, I found it necessary to bring the matter to the attention of a store manager. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and will need to reconsider conducting my annual significant Christmas shopping at this location. Such behavior is unequivocally...
