Let me begin with I love Target! Whenever I go to Target is to unwind and relax. I was just at Target the location is Aurora Saddle Rock 7400 S Gartrell Rd. Specific date is today Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 6:51pm. I was doing some Sunday shopping minding my own business. I go to self check out to scan two items an Oxy Clean and a Laundry Detergent. I am then questioned by an older white woman wearing a plaid shirt that was red and black and she was wearing jeans. I did not catch this rude womanâs name! She then proceeded to accuse me of stealing!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have worked in the retail world for many, many years you cannot accuse a person of stealing because you are just an employee. That is why there is loss prevention! I felt so targeted is it because of my appearance, my skin complexion. I do not want to make accusations but I felt like she said âHey arenât you going to scan that?â because of the way I look? That is why this country is so divided because of women like her I do not want to use the term Karen but thatâs how this woman was acting. Like do you not know this country is a melting pot of different ethnicities and backgrounds. I did not want to become vulgar and cause a scene. This older man even intervened and said to this awful employee calm down! I literally put the oxy clean in my reusable tote because I did not want to purchase a plastic bag that will harm the environment. I never go and leave reviews but this employee should be trained better! I do want to thank Rob the manager of this Target location and the younger gentleman of loss prevention in assisting me in this situation. Rob was very polite and let me explain my situation and apologized on her behalf. I just want to reiterate that it is not the employees business to accuse someone of theft there a procedures and protocols and staff in place! There is even laws in place when you are falsely accused of theft where I can sue for damages against myself. I just hope this woman is talked to and no one goes through this...

This is a really poorly run store. You can always find plenty of moldy produce, I found a can of crushed tomatoes that was nearly expired, and the dairy or frozen section is typically wiped out. Last time I was there, there was a brick of ground beef with a clearance sticker that had become totally monochrome from being so old and oxidized, we laughed at it for a while.
The clothing is alright, the home goods are meh. I have mostly equipped my kitchen and partially furnished my house out of this location over most of the last decade.
The deli sandwiches are awesome, in stark contrast to the rest of the store.
Five years ago, this place was awesome. It seems like this location is just waiting for corporate to close it which will devastate that shopping center.
These quality problems aren't the floor staff's fault. I've known Target employees - management doesn't let them take care of glaring problems. The floor staff suffer angry customers and customers suffer product problems because management either doesn't want to give hours to a problem or they're too cheap to throw away unwholesome food. Management, mind you, is paid well to create those problems.
I love Targets because of wide aisles, bright lighting, and clean stores, but I'm not sure the economics work out in the end for either them...
   Read moreI went to go get a pick up order today and the associate was very aggressive with me initially. She was having issues opening up my car trunk as it is manual, she thought it was an automatic push button and I explained to her my car is older and you have to open in manually. As I was about to exit my car to open it for her she opened it by herself, okay no big deal. I thanked her as she packed my trunk. She then walked away without closing my trunk. As I was about to pull off I noticed it. It is a safety concern to be unaware that my trunk is still open. I said âYou forgot to close my trunk sweetie!â And she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and continued to complain that my trunk was âbrokenâ and stormed into the store. Another associate (off duty) closed it for me and apologized for her behavior as other customers witnessed this incident. I asked him for her name which he told me it was âMaddyâ. Maddy was definitely a Mad-dy today. I called to express my concerns as I was obviously upset and Maddy answered and hung up on me. I called a second time and talked to management, the manager was talking over me saying my button was âbrokenâ and then hung up as well.
