Ordered from them every weekend. Last weekend our entire tray of sushi was spilled except separate California rolls. Today they missed our sweet potatoes sushi rolls. When I called some type of owner Vicky claimed she packed it. She denied the fact sushi was missing. She actually refused to believe me. I told her have your driver stand and check the stuff you send. She cussed at me, refused to believe me on missing sushi. Vicky managed to denied the missing two rolls....resorted to cursing and I am pretty sure Vicky is a owner. Or atleast manager. And I remained polite and calm. She should not be in a buisness with customer support. Actually the worst buisness ever it turns out.
Owner replies...and lies. I was nothing but kind and polite. You literally cussed at me, denied the reality of 1 1/2 missing sushi rolls. And you started getting upset while I remained calm. almost all my reviews are 5 stars... 1 star. I am finished with you Vicky, your poor accuracy with orders, and your complete boldfaced lies and deception in your response. I will not look at this review again, you acting as you did last night was plenty of display of your character. To have a restaurant owner cuss at me and deny that a roll and half are missing, which was essentially saying I was lying, is a joke. You should not deal with customer service. Good luck, I suggest not cussing with customers after you forget food also seriously. You should study professionalism as a buisness owner....

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than five years and sadly I am here today to write about a case of lost authenticity.
Sunrise has always struggled with a bit of an identity crisis, shuffling decor around and making small changes to an absolutely static menu that screams "I want to be a greasy spoon, but the rent is too high." Despite that, over the years there has been a steadily growing effort and proficiency in the kitchen that is the star of every plate. The sauces became less greasy, the meat more tender, and a steady increase of the overall culinary caliber was a welcome vibe.
With a recent remodel that amounted to little more than a new coat of paint, Sunrise seems to have thrown the baby out with the bath water. Bland food and greasy plates are back with that hard earned kitchen technique literally lost in the sauce. The fragrant garlic sauce turned out to be a thin veneer concealing overcooked vegetables and the fried noodles were heavier on the arteries than the heart. Our float down the Yangtze abruptly ended in Silver Dollar City.
From Fox News on the television to a lack of chopsticks at the table, this is a Chinese restaurant for people who don't...
Read moreI hate giving this bad review, but I do it in the hope they will fix it. I have eaten here several times (takeout) and was glad to have finally found a good place after being in the desert ever since my go-to place, N. China on Dry Creek Rd, closed several years ago. We ordered the Mongolian beef and it was superb. Sweet from the onions, a little spicy from the red peppers and the beef was perfect. A 10/10. The crab won tons also a 10/10. Perfect. The hot and sour soup was not good. Maybe just a bad batch, but it was way too sour and without the heavy broth background. I had my usual Happy Family and it was not good. Apparently they decided to include big, cardboard-like chunks of pork, which I have never had in a Happy Family dish before. The broccoli was good, but no snow peas or baby corn. 2 pieces of shrimp and little of the lovely beef that the other dish had. The few chicken pieces were dry. The too-thin slices of fake crab tasted a little past their prime too. Very disappointed. I will try them again because this was the first time I had a bad dish there, but if it doesn't improve, I'll be going...
