Me and my family went to this escape room after convincing one my brother's friends to go with us for my brother's birthday. My family had been there one time before, but had never done an escape room, so he was nervous but excited. When we first got there it was going good and we were really into the puzzles trying our best. Then our friend accidentally broke the little tape measure in the room, by pulling it too far, he then apologized to the person on the cameras who can give you clues if you need it, but the guy who was on the speaker in the room preceded to be pretty rude to him afterwards. Our friend told him "sorry I broke the tape measure I was looking for something on it, and I pulled it too far" or something along those lines and he responded "Okay why would you keep messing with it if you guys didn't need it anymore? Well yeah just put it to the side it's trash now." In an extremely irritated tone. Keep in mind my brother's friend had never been to an escape room before, and he was just trying to see if there was a hidden clue, he didn't do it intentionally at all. That kind of killed the fun for a bit for our group because he snapped at my brother's friend. We finished the room successfully with one clue and it was fun. But because of that interaction we probably won't be back. We also did offer to reimburse him for the tape measure after we got out of the room too and he even asked him if he was sure about us not reimbursing him, because the person working said no it was fine. He took our picture at the end and moved on like it didn't happen. Just a weird interaction from the person working that made us all pretty uncomfortable which is sad because it was a really fun...
Read moreI'm not a big puzzle/riddle/code breaking kinda guy, but my girlfriend and friends are so needless to say I end up going to the occasional escape room. We've attended 3 or 4 previous escape rooms and the it was okay, definitely not review worthy... I was mildly entertained. Furthermore, I never review things on Google... like never!
But THIS PLACE, THIS ESCAPE ROOM was real life, clap your hands, jump up and down, high five your friends; FUN!!! 1st off there is 3 room options. We did the Mummy and Alien 51 rooms... and let me tell you its some James Bond type stuff and not just coded locks and pictogram riddles like other escape rooms. Thrilling from start to finish! And even though our group only successfully completed 1 of the 2 rooms in the hour of allotted time... we got really close to beating the Alien room! We will be going back to try again and to give the 3rd room a shot
Like I said "I don't leave reviews". But The Wreck Room is straight up FUN! Plus my girl loved it... So I felt compelled to turn a new leaf. I highly recommend going and testing your problem solving skills at this escape room.
-side note- my girlfriend is very Covid conscious so of course she enquired about their Covid protocols... and let's just say they were incredibly clean...
Read moreWe have done upwards of over 30 escape rooms, and I am absolutely loving everything about Wreck Room. We have done both their Upside Down (very cool homage to Stranger Things - if you are a fan this will make you squee!) and the Jail Break room (such a fun concept with your group being split up between those brought in to jail and those who are trying to break them out). Loved them both.
The puzzles flowed well, are challenging but not impossible, and there are so many pop culture easter eggs in both rooms - just serves as an added bonus to their already well thought out rooms.
Immersion - 10 Puzzles - 10 Owners/Staff - 20!
I love the fact that they also will not force you into groups with strangers, if you book a time (even with 2 people) it's your timeslot - so very fun to do with your significant other. Jail break requires 4 people min for the game play.
Legit one of the better escape room...
