Edit: Was reached out to and got a mani redo for free, and asked to take down the review. I won't because I still think people deserved to be warned about the chance of things not going right the first time, and testify that if it goes wrong they are willing to fix it :)

TLDR: If you want to pay 65 dollars for a rude nail tech and a nail to start lifting the next day with otherwise good services, you found your place. It's tech dependant and there appeared to be a lot of them, so this might have been a one off.

Me and my mom came for a manicure pamper sesh after my favorite place was full booked for the day, and we both got dip. Kati was my tech, and while most of the nails she did came out perfect, her customer service and care with the electric file left everything to be desired.

One of the first things she said to me repeatedly, was "wow, your hands so wet" and wouldn't stop repeating herself about it till I told her "yeah me and my dad" (I can't really do anything to control this (even the antiperspirant lotion only works for 30 minutes and I know I'll need to wash my hands anyway so I don't wear it for going to a salon), it's just a kinda unfortunate part about my genetics). And after that she had the audacity to tell me to relax and even pull my hand a little bit to get me to move one time. You just insulted me and are now going to tell me to relax? Great customer service, ma'am. (That was sarcasm)

For the file, I understand that it is a nessicary part to help the gel and dip adhease better, but I was left wincing as Kati got dangerously close to my skin, likely actually making contact with it multiple times. My thumb was a little bit tender for the first 10 minutes after I left the chair!

Leaving when it was time to take care of the receipt, I was very tempted to not tip, and only did so because Kati quite rudely splayed her hand over the area for writing it in. I didn't want to cause a scene, especially since it was meant to be a nice day out with my mom (her tech did wonderful and her service was amazing) so I just added $10 on.

Even after all that, I wasn't going to say anything. Most of the times that's just how things go with salons unless you find a very rare good one. The whole reason I'm posting anything is because not even 24 hours later, my left pointer finger was starting to lift. No way with after that customer service I was going to go back and pay to fix it, so I've just filed down the not following the curve of the cuticle line excess that likely caused the lifting in the first place down as much as I could and added nail glue beneath to make it last hopefully long enough to make the money I spent not a total waste, especially since me and my mom paid seperatly for our manicures.

I've added two photos of the lifted nail, and the pictures of the full manicure is after I fixed...

I have been going to Tee for a few years now but today will be my last! She complained she was tired/I get it we all have those days. But her attitude seems to keep getting worse every time and I'm done! Every time she does my nails for the last few years I go home and have to file and pick remanence underneath my nails. If you even mention something on your nails you want fixed she gets annoyed and upset and acts like she could care less. She does not pay attention to detail and honestly hasn't the whole time I have been getting my nails done by her, but I have just been dealing with it. Well today NO LONGER! The others there are all right(they are all pretty nice besides Tee these days).

She needs some serious work on customer service! Like I said I have been dealing with it for a long time. I'm going to spend my money where I don't get attitude. I always tip! Always! I'm done wasting my time on places where people don't matter! They do a ok job which is why I kept returning plus they have lots of color options.

The main reason I never reviewed this place is because quite honestly I wasn't fully happy but it was just convenient. I never wanted to put the salon or Tee down even though I had my reservations about the place. But after today and me "being picky" I could take no more! I never felt I was picky about my nails until moving here. It's been a real struggle but it honestly doesn't matter how long you have been doing nails, if you never learned the right way then all those years go in the trash.

Also, mind you I was a regular every 2 weeks and brought my daughter in with me for a fill and pedicure regularly. I spent good amounts of money here($350 or more a month), but I will not support a place who doesn't care about what keeps them busy(paying customers). I suggest either using someone else there(which I personally won't) or finding a better place. So...

I was pretty disappointed with my last service that I received. I’ve been coming to this salon for the past year, and this was the worst service I got here. I got a full set manicure and a pedicure. The last time I got my nails done they did both my manicure and pedicure at the same time. This time they made it seem like they were going to do that again. Then, the lady walked away in the middle of my manicure to go do someone else’s pedicure. I had this appointment scheduled ahead of time, and the pedicure she left me for was a walk-in. This left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel like they care more about the money than the quality of their work. I am not one to usually write bad reviews (especially about local businesses), but I felt that this was unprofessional. Then after not even a week of having my manicure done, one of my nails broke off. I have gotten full set acrylics many of times, and they usually last me at least 3 weeks. It was pretty disappointing that this set did not even last a week.

Edit: This review is coming from the daughter KAYLA. This is not Maria. The lady that did my pedicure admitted that she was sick. That is when we asked for the face mask. Yes, my mom was complaining because this was not the service that we paid for. I was not going to write this review, but then my nail popped off in less than a week. It was not my fault because I was not doing any strenuous activity. I've never had this problem at any other nail salon that I've been to. This response shows me the unprofessionalism here even more by accusing me of being a...
