TL;DR: Nicole needs a raise for her patience and just general care for customers. I was just $3 short and she wasn’t bothered by me having to step away.
Let me preface this all by saying I am diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome so I’m not the best with conversations always.
I was going through my junk mail when I saw my copy of Assassin’s Creed Shadows was available, panicking and realizing my mistake I called the store. I spoke with Kevin, he’s an absolutely amazing guy, he said even though I was almost a week late he’d still honour my deposit on the copy so I made my way down here from my place up in Georgetown…
Nicole helped me out today, I came in not knowing how much of a deposit I put on the game, to be honest I remembered paying for an assassins creed game but she looked it up for me and helped me remember that I had bought mirage that day (I still won’t touch AC Mirage because of the micro transactions.) I had placed a $5 bill on a hold on a game but it was only for 48 hours once 3/20 hit. I was way over deadline and she helped me out still so I’m thankful for that. She also let me take a good look at some of the PS5 controllers behind the counter.
Specifically, the “Glitched” skin caught my eye, it was between this one and one that was a sort of skyline of a city that looked really good. I didn’t get a picture of that one unfortunately.
Spent a little over $150 that day between the $70 game and the controller. I also had a 27 mile one way drive to go along with it but honestly I’m happy.
I’ve been coming here since at least 9/16/23… or at least that’s my oldest receipt from the store I have. Over the years I’ve been able to see their store change a lot. In terms of inventory, layout, consoles, and employees.
Nicole has definitely blew my expectations out of the water with how nice she was and just how welcomed she made me feel. Especially with my autism that’s not an easy feat. I went there to replace the game card and they yelling at me and told me get out here. I politely told him I was with my husband. He caught an attitude “ok didn’t know who was with who.” I asked him if they had RDR 1 and he stated that it was an old game and we started discussing the variations between them.
