I’ve been in Austin a long time, certainly long enough to visit (LOTS)many of the boutique businesses offering various cosmetic enhancements; I have no complaints about any of them really. In the last 20 years, I’ve only taken time to write one other review., so it’s sort of a big deal for me to make this effort. BUT, I couldn’t NOT say something because this experience with Andrew and William was most unique. Lots of people call themselves perfectionists so it’s become sort of normal in our lexicon… I’d call Andrew a perfectionist. I’ve been very accustomed to the “treat them and treat them “manner of business, which I have no complaints about, but when they(Gorg) book your one hour appointment, there will be one full hour spent with you, for you. I’m not so hard to please because I usually say, “I have this much to spend, you decide.” But this practitioner, Andrew., is very serious about understanding what you desire , what you can expect and ultimately, he makes suggestions in order to align your wants with reasonability; I put my feet on the ground and managed my expectations. I am thrilled with the results!!! it’s still me, saying “do you, you’re the expert .” But this experience was in fact a group effort thanks and part to the manager, William, who was helpful with the budget aspects. There is certainly no upselling , more of a modification, so that you can get the most bang for your buck;) Anyway, I think we can agree that the most important thing about these appointments and choices is how you feel when you leave the appt and then how you feel about the overall aesthetic as the days pass. I could not be more pleased! There are remarkable changes that are unremarkable- nobody would ask me if I had “anything done” because I look exactly like myself, maybe 5 to 10 years ago… i’ve looked at pictures of myself, and there is just more balance in my face and less of a drawn look. Volume ! Maybe some sculpting ! I am Happy Happy...

I’ve been going to Gorg for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about this team. They’re a small, queer-owned business that started out in a cozy salon loft in downtown Austin. I was first introduced to them at a drag brunch in Spring 2024, and it was immediately clear they care deeply about community. They regularly host and attend local events, often collaborating with other small businesses—something I truly respect and want to support.

As I’ve grown older (and thankfully, grown into a higher salary!), I’ve been able to treat myself to things like Dysport, dermal fillers, and microneedling—and Gorg is the only place I trust. I never felt the need to shop around for another med spa because I genuinely believe in what they do and how they do it.

Their treatments have been amazing. The Dysport keeps my skin smooth and helps slow down the visible signs of aging, the microneedling worked wonders, and my skin has never looked better. Every appointment, I feel welcomed, informed, and cared for. The team is friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and always takes the time to explain what’s going on so I feel confident and at ease.

I came in on Dysport day for Dysport injections in the masseter muscles and forhead to help with TMJ pain and migraines and a little bit just for fun to treat myself. William was so helpful with texting me to figure out where to go in an area of Austin I've never been before and met me to walk me in. Andrew was my injector and he was more thorough than any injector I've been to before. He really made sure he injected the optimal spots to help me feel relief. And, just for fun, I asked for his recommendation where he'd suggest to do a little bit of Dysport to improve my face. He went with around my eyes, it's been a few days and I am loving the results. Andrew really is an artist at his craft. And I can finally talk and chew without intense pain. (Dysport/Botox can help with alot more than just how the outside looks.)
