La Fleur Fresh Flower Market — Local services in Austin

I cannot say enough about how much I adore La Fleur Fresh Flower Market and my experience with them! I live in Los Angeles and wanted to send my sister who lives near Austin some flowers to cheer her up. In Los Angeles, we have an array of talented and artful florists to choose from and thus I did my best to research a place in Austin I thought would be comparable. First, I’m huge on customer service and am not a fan of chains or big companies where I think the product quality and style in this case flowers gets lost. I’m also not a fan of cheesy commercial style bouquets. I sent out both an email and call and Kim got back to me right away. She was super kind, patient & took the time to understand what I was going for. I told her my price point, the occasion for sending the flowers, and was specific on the style I wanted the bouquet to be (semi wild with a lot of green pieces to add a very personalized touch since this is my style) while making sure to have purple flowers (my sister’s favorite color). I wish I could input the photo on the review because they came out stunning. Not to mention, I gave her my sister’s phone number so she could arrange a time without telling her who the flowers were from. Kim included the message I wanted even helping me when I got stuck. I ordered these on aThursday night and flowers were sent Friday morning. Kim even followed up and emailed me a photo and to confirm delivery! Without a doubt I’d order from La Fleur Fresh Market in a heartbeat if sending to anyone...

I ordered flowers from La Fleur for my mother's birthday in January and they were beautiful. She absolutely loved them. That same week, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. When she had surgery in February, I ordered another bouquet and again they were gorgeous. When she started chemo a couple of months later, my siblings and I wanted to do something special so I called and asked about the floral subscription. We wanted to have a bouquet delivered every week on the same day of her chemo. They were so helpful and thoughtful, asking questions about what time of day we would like the flowers delivered and whether or not she would feel up to changing them out in the same vase every week or if they should arrive in a vase. Every week, the bouquet is different and there are always some flowers that are not open yet to prolong blooming. They still look amazing by the time she gets her next delivery. If my mom is around when they are delivered, they ask her how she is feeling and talk a little about the flowers in that week's delivery. If she isn't around, they call to make sure she got them. Today is my mother's 20th and final chemo session and I am so incredibly grateful for the beautiful bouquets you put together and the wonderful customer service you provided, all of which helped make a terrible time a little lighter...

My first time visiting this flower shop was for a group event. We did a flower arranging class here. This was my first time ever taking a flower arrangement class and it was so much fun! I can’t believe how much I learned! Kim, the owner, is so knowledgable and kept us entertained throughout the process with her lighthearted humor and great storytelling abilities. We went step by step with great explanations in between and ended up with a beautiful bouquet by the end of the night! Afterwards, she gave us a tour around the shop and I was very impressed by the large fridge in the store to keep all the flowers nice and fresh. The quality of the flowers in this shop is exceptional. And because Kim told us all the tips and tricks to keeping our bouquets in good shape, mine lasted me several weeks! I’ve never been able to keep a bouquet of flowers looking good for longer than a week at most. I highly recommend this place for buying flowers in general but, also if you’re looking for a fun...
