Pizza Roma — Restaurant in Austin

Update 5/6/2025: can't believe bearly any reviews because this pizza is just that good. Again had the roma Supreme and it's in my top three here in austinish area and it's competing for number one honest. I'm fortunate I found this place outta nowhere just looking for some zza about 2 years ago roughly and that it's a real gem. You should see the undercarriage. I left a review 2 years ago but this was cooked perfectly with no need to get well done(be careful not to almost burn left overs in the oven like i almost just did haha but i got it in time just a lil crisp). I love pizza and have tried to taste many places and this is well up there for my brother and me( he just tried it and said it's got some of the best sauce). I'm big on like homeslice not gonna lie but this place especially the Supreme is amazing(best I ever had no lie and it looks simple but it is masterful). Fresh dough and ingredients, cheese is on point! Not telling you what to do but if you got double cheese you maybe messed up cause they know what they doing. To be honest i'd've got another pizza today(yesterday now) cause I haven't had it in awhile and we ate this sunday night but saw they are closed on Mondays. Pizza is amazing. Actually real cheese! Just reheated a slice in the oven and had a string pull. I believe I got the roma Supreme so worth it. I was looking for pizza on Sunday night but everywhere was closed but little Ceasars or roppolo's(which sucks haha rather have little Ceasars than that place) check this place out fresh dough too its already become a favorite of mine. I will say you might want it well done but I eat my leftovers and so it was perfect for me. So tasty thank yall and I'm a pizza fanatic just found the place on Google luckily and they were open...

First, the food. The food is fantastic, really authentic NY style pies, a bit on the small side but the flavor is 100% on point.

Crust is thin, chewy and just excellent.

Sauce - I could drink it, it's classic, tangy sweet, savory affair without being over powering, love it.

I love the classic pep, shrooms and onions - it's greasy, but good Lord I want to be buried with that zah.

Ok, so some bad - I have had a few duds, one overcooked pie, and some less than appetizing garlic bread. But nothing that'll keep me from coming back.

Also, they are slow - as far as I can tell it's only one gal in there jamming and making us those tasty pies, so I'm patient, and you should be too - quality can't be rushed and she's getting popular, just add an extra 15 min to the pickup time and maybe up to an hour for delivery at peak pizza times.
