If you’re going to insist that you’re a 21+ establishment, there should be signage on and in your store, security checking IDs, and that info should be stated on your website and your Google business page. The band we were going to see even checked ahead of time with this venue to make sure that everyone in our party could come. Not to mention the 20 year old that got hassled had her mother with her to see one of their favorite bands together and there was someone with an actual child sitting in the bar.

I’m very understanding to how rough being a bartender is and how strict bartenders need to be to cover themselves and the bar. However, there is absolutely no reason for the bartender to say “I’m not calling you a bad mother” when no one has said anything about anyone being a bad mother, nor to be so condescending to our entire group. After she told us we could stay until a certain time and making the bad mother statement, the bartender then started berating our mother for not making eye contact with her and calling our mother rude for it, making sure to seriously anger all four of her kids. When people are anxious because you’re causing a scene and insinuating that they’re a bad mother in public in front of their kid’s friends, they may not want to look at you in order to keep their composure. A bar in Austin with a bartender named Austin who just happens to be a cool dude. Sports, Every game basically. Monday night open mic is one of a kind, hosted by Chris Kingsley who's got a really good mind for songwriting, and always featuring other ceaselessly entertaining acts. Wednesday night open mics are always packed, be sure and get your name on the list an hour and a half before it starts if you wanna go up. But even if you don't make it on stage, the amount of blues talent there always makes it worth it even just to watch. This establishment over served a man this afternoon between noon and 4pm. The staff/bartenders Taylor and Daisy rolled him for $2000 in tips when he was barely able to speak or walk and then just let him walk out the door not knowing if he would get in a vehicle and run down young children in our neighborhood. This is a neighborhood bar located right next door to an elementary school. I would expect our neighborhood bar and STAFF to take better care of OUR neighbors and OUR children.
