I’m a collector from LA, and before visiting Austin, I did my research—calling local card shops with specific questions to get a feel for the local TCG scene. Vanessa at Pixelhaven stood out immediately. She was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and helpful, answering all my questions with ease.

On this day, I took a trip to Austin to visit a handful of card shops to see what cards I could get rid out from my binder collection. Of all the shops I went to, PixelHaven was the only one that left a positive lasting impression. Friendly from the moment I walked in. Knowledgable people. Helpful. Chill vibes with people at the tables just having a great time playing their TCG. Surely the type of place people want to support and continue to do so. The only blemish for me was the value in return if you sell cards for cash, BUT The positive experience I was already having allowed me to overlook that (Also the fact that I wasn’t exactly selling big costing cards. Went in to get a couple Pokemon Card Singles and to check out the release of Prismatic Evolutions (was expecting it not to be available but still hopeful). Was greeted and helped out at the kiosk, but when we asked about the new set the worker did say they were completely sold out. As I was looking through the kiosk, another customer came in and asked about the new set. The worker said they had 1 of each item available and pulled it out from the back even though he told me not even 5 minutes he said they were completely sold out. Don’t understand how you can be okay with lying to a customer’s face.
