I went here for the head spa experience. I had booked the Opal with a hand mask. I am not sure if this place has better facials or other type of massages, but the head spa experience was confusing and misleading.
Now I am not an expert on head spas, I have been to one other head spa before this that I liked and I understand "head spa" can be ambiguous. My problem was the description of what the services are were misleading. They list "massage" as the first thing but there were barely any massage. She massages my head very lightly for may be 10 seconds at the start, and then her hands were completely off my scalp the entire time! She would touch it here and there for like 2 seconds, and hands were off right away. I wasn't sure what she was doing, it felt like she was spending a lot of time - pretty much most of the time arranging products, adjusting the equipments, and doing something with my rest of the hair at the ends. Now, there may be some people who seek head spa for cleaning the hair at the tips or closer to tips for a lonngg time, I am not sure if that is expected, but the description did not give that idea at all. The description says shoulder, neck and face, but that part is very very very very short, it was clear it was added so that they can list that in the description as a selling point. She barely pressed through my shoulders ONE time may be for 2 - 5 seconds in a 60 minute session. The massage on my face although only slightly longer than that was the decent part of the whole experience, she was good at the tool she was using, although that was at the end and by that time I have developed a headache, And I do not remember anything happening to the back of my neck at all.
My head was fully immersed in running water right from the start to the very end, and cold and heavy stuff was applied to my scalp. The fragrances were all very heavy. The whole experience gave me a mild headache towards the end, and I do not get headaches easily like that. It certainly triggered my sinus a bit since there were lot of cold stuff sitting on my scalp for longer.
And the strangest part was there is no blowdrying to finish it. Here is the thing the website lists "hair will be slightly damp" or something like that. (I read the whole thing before booking), but that is a misleading understatement, my hair was fully wet, just as wet as I would be stepping out of shower minus water wasn't dripping from the ends. The scalp was heavy and wet, I couldn't wait to rush home and dry it. If you are doing this, do not plan to go anywhere else afterwards.
Now to what this did to my hair: I noticed my hair was less rough, it felt like I have used a softening mask and had oiled it afterwards. But it looked frizzy and very dull. I washed the next day.
Overall you can skip this, and use a hair mask at home, and it is more or less the same for your hair, and you don't get any...
Read moreIâve seen many massage therapists over the years, but Shannon stands apart in every way. She was recommended to me by a physical therapist, and from my very first session, I could tell I was in the hands of someone truly gifted. Shannon brings not only years of experience and technical knowledge, but also a deep, intuitive understanding of the body thatâs rare to find.

Shannon draws on a wide range of modalitiesâlymphatic drainage, cupping, post-surgery treatments, head and neck workâand customizes every session to meet your specific needs. Her intake process is one of the most thorough Iâve seen, and sheâs incredibly intentional in how she prepares and delivers care.
Every detail of the experience is considered, from warm neck pillows and hot towels to essential oils and muscle creams. Itâs not just a massageâitâs a full-body reset, delivered with kindness, professionalism, and care.

Read moreI loved my treatment with Alexis. She met my expectations based on my form I filled out ahead of time even already having my scent of choice (sandalwood) going when I arrived. I wasnât sure what to expect as this was my first HeadSpa treatment, but everything was explained once I arrived which made the whole experience very relaxing.
I wish I would have taken pictures before and after. Texas weather is rough on our hair during the winter as itâs freezing one day and eighty degrees the next. It stresses our immune system which has an effect on our hair and this treatment made my scalp and hair feel very healthy and balanced.
I highly recommend a HeadSpa treatment...
