I had really been looking forward to trying this out, as I had seen other locations and they looked fantastic. Upon arriving, the girl working seemed a little unapproachable and not excited to be at work. I get it, sometimes we all have those days but especially at a place where relaxation is the goal, a little warmth and kindness would go a long way. She showed me the room and I asked a few questions as this was my first time and she seemed bothered to be answering and that the answers should have been obvious. I saw at other locations they have intro videos for your first time and I didn’t get any type of instructions besides to spray my face if I get salt in my eyes. So I started very confused trying to figure out the process, I read the signs in the room and that helped. I got in and immediately was off-put by the cleanliness of the spa, nothing horrendous but there was some weird floating particles (not salt) and the edges were dirty in my opinion, see images. I thought “whatever” and went to relax, I wanted the lights on and had expressed that before she left the room and she said to press the button, I tried for around 15 minutes to sit in the dark and found that to be more stressful that relaxing, I called in twice through the intercom system, on the second call she finally heard me and I explained that the lights wouldn’t turn on. She said that it just must be because the salt made the button stick and didn’t offer any other solution. She just said sorry about that. I laid there for another couple minutes and then decided that this was just more uncomfortable than not so I got out and went to leave. She saw me in the hall and I don’t know, I just would’ve appreciated maybe the offer to try a different spa because I saw that almost all the other spas were still wide open and they had lights on and working. She did offer to free-float me to try again but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Not the best or friendliest customer service. I do appreciate the offer to free float, but I don’t think I’ll follow through as I was so disappointed by the experience I can’t see it...
Read moreOverall, our experience was unlike no other! You do your research and read articles and watch videos but everyone's outcome is different. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and came here to float with my husband for his birthday (birthday wish granted). From the initial phone booking and rescheduling to the in-person interaction, everyone we interacted with portrayed outstanding customer service! You truly feel welcomed and wanted here!
Going anywhere during Covid-19 while pregnant is a scary thought, but honestly I'm one of the one's who just can't stay put and I'm gaining weight and starting to feel the pressure on my lower back so I wanted to try this to alleviate some of the pain.
Tanner was the one who showed us around and he wore a mask and they had hand sanitizer available. He gave us a tour of the facility and a quick run down of how the pod operates and to shower beforehand and afterwards.
For my experience, the first few minutes were achy and my body felt really stiff and tense. I turned off the lights and then started to really relax and my body let itself unwind so gloriously. Then midway through I started to get restless and then it felt too humid so I cracked the pod to get some cool air.
I thought about how me and my baby were both floating. One in amniotic fluid in my tummy and one in salt water in a pod. It made me really feel at one with my baby. I know cheesy right, lol, but it was truly an experience like none other for me and even more so since I'm pregnant!
My husband said he had his pod closed the entire time with the lights off and he loved it! We both experienced some tightness and nerve jerking in the beginning but then our bodies settled down and we were able to relax.
Overall, we enjoyed every aspect of it and would do it again! I'd highly recommend you give them a try! They have a special on Groupon and do different specials...
Read moreI wasn't really sure what to expect out of this. I received two floats as a gift. I get there 30 min early the first time as the e-mail asked, and it took about 10 min for the staff member to explain everything. The water is lukewarm so I guess I was kind of expecting more of a hot bath experience. The pods are very relaxing. It was the closest thing to being in a cave that I've ever experienced. I was told I would get a complimentary oxygen experience being a new customer but when I finished I just looked at the thing not having any idea how to use it, the room was empty and the staff member was at her desk chatting with a friend so I gave up and left. The second time I arrived at 10:00 a.m., the time of my appointment, also when the place showed to open. The staff member said my pod is ready. I asked if I would get the full hour since it was 10:03 after check-in and I wouldn't get back to the room, undressed and in the pod until around 10:10 or so and she said, "No your time starts right when your appointment is". I said, your sign on the door says you're not even open until 10:00 so that's when I walked in. She said that the automated e-mail said to arrive 15 minutes early. Checking it, it only says for a new person to arrive 30 minutes early. There was literally no one else in the building at 10:00 or 11:00 when I finished in any other pods, but she literally would not give me the full hour because I walked in the door right on the minute they showed to open. I mean for $89 an hour, the extra 10 minutes is significant, especially 10 minutes at a place where I have the rare opportunity to relax and decompress. But not this place, sorry about your luck, you should have walked in the door before we opened. It's 11:00, lights on, get out. I won't...
