Einstein Bros stole $11.89 from me. Let it go you say? Yes, I would.....except! They have known about the online ordering issue for WEEKS and have not either fixed it, or shut it down to fix it. Instead, there is many, many people out there getting ripped off from Einstein. The story is, on Oct 7th I was in the area and was craving a bagel sandwich. I ordered online for a pick up at the Braker location. It immediately gave me an error. I went and checked my bank and the money was on hold, so I was hoping it went through. I went up to the cashier and she said no, they didn't have it and another worker said "oh yeah, the mobile order doesn't work". Immediately the customer behind me stated this same thing had happened to him weeks ago and he will never use the mobile ordering again. He said it took over a week to get his money back, and his was over $50!! I asked the workers what I was supposed to do, they told me to contact corporate and I would get a refund. So I left, very upset. There is no way to call corporate. They only use email which take 3-5 days for a response. Not customer friendly! So they reach out to me today, Oct 10th (Monday was a holiday), and stated they were having a hard time finding the order and could I verify some information (store I ordered from, picture of my bank statement) which I provided. They then came back and asked if I was sure it was this store and what did I order. I provided that, then told them to go ahead and keep the money. I was done with the emailing back and forth. Pick up the phone and have a conversation with me! They have a known issue that they are not fixing or letting customers know about. I saw another review on another sight where the person said Einstein was refusing to give her money back! This is theft! Straight up theft. I learned my $12 lesson. Never go to Einstein Bros but if you must, do NOT use the mobile ordering...
Read moreThis place still has the same terrible customer service as it did 10 months ago. I used to live on this side of town so I would come here semi frequently. I always grabbed my order from over the counter, as well as other patrons. So I went up to the counter and I had three employees just look at me even though I was looking right at them and just walked in and they never acknowledge me. I was literally standing there for about 3 to 4 minutes with not one acknowledgment. Another girl had a bucket of bagels and came up around me and they handed her the order over the counter.
An older chubby ww, who I remember from last time, with a charcoal color ponytail, finally looks at me and says, "oh hey what are you here for?" and I asked her was anybody ever going to acknowledge the fact that I've been standing here and she said well what are you here for? and I said a pickup order. She said well the pickup orders are over there.
I guess now they sit their pick up orders on the wall to the side. My issue is; 1, if you acknowledged me like a normal business would, I would have known that as I have not been in here in 10 months. 2, I'm not going to just go grab my pickup order from the wall because I would have been stopped and I highly doubt y'all just allow that to happen, especially since I'm a minority. 3, You could have just gave me good customer service and everything would have been good from the get-go. It's like people don't use common sense anymore and then wonder why people have an attitude dealing with stupidity. You're in the customer service industry. I walked in happy and left irritated smh. They still have the same cruddy service they did before. Definitely won't return to...
Read moreI love Einstein Bagels, and I frequent the Cedar Park location often. However, my experience with the Braker location this morning was incredibly disappointing. I called in to place a pick up order, and the person who answered the phone was rushed and rude. I understand it's the morning rush, so I tried to remain calm and patient as she grumbled to her coworkers on the side that I was placing a 2 dozen bagel box order, and even as her coworkers kept telling her "Just call her back, just tell her you'll call her back". When she returned to the phone and asked what time I wanted to pick up, I told her "Just the first available time, whenever they can be ready" hoping to give them time to make my order and provide me with a time they felt they needed to prepare it. She audibly gave an exasperated sigh and continued with an annoyed "Ma'am, HOW can I help you?". I was so thrown off by her annoyed attitude and tone that I told her I'd rather take my business elsewhere and ended the call. She knew I picked up on her irritation and tried to back-peddle, but it was too late. If you're a restaurant that specializes in breakfast foods, it would be wise to train your employees to remain patient and positive during your morning rush. I cannot stand when people in the customer service industry fail to provide basic,...
