here is what you need to know before coming to this location:
just finding this place and getting here is 80% of the battle but this is the closest location of the juice Land local Austin franchise that's been around for over 10 years and survived the test of time that's near me here in the arboretum area
And unfortunately there's only really one way in and out to this place because how they cut off all the ways you could get here from North Lamar to brecker Lane to 183 through mopac to here forget about it The only real way you're going to be able to get here is coming northbound on the service road of research boulevard of 183 coming from Great Hill trail otherwise you are not going to be able to get in here and you have to get past the traffic coming in and out of Costco just to finally enter into the shopping complex from where to Wendy's is on either side of the Wendy's to get into this area cuz it is segmented off where you can't get in any other way and can't get out any other way so keep that in mind as the challenge of getting to this place and getting out of this place and it's shared parking so do keep in mind it could be challenging to get parking because not only is there a bunch of businesses next to this here in this corner but also a Holiday inn Express
that in mind it's tucked behind a one-fa Asian fusion Vietnamese fusion and across from the PT physical training studio in the corner hidden
but the good news is the staff and customer service here are phenomenal there's even though it's a hole in the wall enough indoor dining area to suffice with a nice palm vibe to calm you down after getting your blood pressure up just getting here
once here just keep in mind it's like smoothie King but better with all organic veggies and fruits for the most part across the board and they have a new protein option called the strawberry cloud but keep in mind getting a medium or large does not get you more protein it's the same amount of protein in the small as it is in the medium and large but the new strawberry clouds smoothie has more protein than all the other smoothies if that's what you're looking for in balance with your fruits and veggies which is what I needed after a hard workout
also juice land uses the infamous snack dining payment processor that hundreds of other businesses here in Austin use so whenever you sign up for rewards or use the same debit card it earns you points which get you free smoothies and $5 off on your birthday each year tied to your phone number
that being said expect to spend about up to $10 per person for whatever your jam is whether it's a veggie fruit combination ball or protein shake or fresh juice drink and or any number of their snacks and knickknacks to go
keep in mind though they really don't have a public restroom they have one restroom. And they really don't like the public to use the restroom but they do have Wi-Fi that is decent enough to get some work done and a few outlets here and there
they also have a cooler with fresh chilled and homemade drinks various kinds to go
and much like any of the other local businesses that use this kind of dedicated process so you can order an advance for pickup to go but there's not like a dedicated to go area so you will need to stay in line as they have maybe two or three people working at any point or time with one at the front and the rest in the back alternating to blend and make the orders and take the orders
it is easily handicap accessible except getting to the door so keep that in mind but once in and out handicap accessible
I would also say the strawberry cloud smoothie is best if he add some cherry for a nice twist and easily now my favorite with my second favorite being the soul boulder but to my dismay I found out they changed the amount of protein in that drink and now just about six or eight grams which is nothing at all so now I'm going to be sticking to probably the strawberry cloud when I'm looking for a nice fruit and/or fruity blend outside of like...
Read moreCame in for an online order pick-up, checked in at the front counter and was told my drinks were still being worked on. I said, “Okay, thank you.” And sat down and waited patiently. I heard 2 of the employees saying something about my name. The two customers before me got their drinks, and I then proceeded to wait 10 minutes and the same girl I checked in with came to the front and saw me still waiting and then went back to the back where all the employees were just there talking. I then waited another 10 minutes, until a completely different employee was leaving and noticed me sitting there and told me there were no online orders in the system, but they took my name was able to help me and got my drinks immediately. I assuming the drinks had just been sitting behind the counter for the past 20 minutes. I’m not sure exactly what I did to upset the cashier or the employee making the drinks. Hope y’all felt good making me wait for 20 minutes for...
Read moreI love this place. They have the best juices and smoothies I have had in the Austin area. I probably wont return to this location though. I normally go to the one off of Anderson. My only complaint and I guess its not really a complaint, more of an observation...there was a young man who was placing his order before us and I guess he knew the girls working there. Well they were chit chatting forever and both the girl taking orders and another girl from the back came around the counter to give him a very warm hug. Then he proceeded to stay and wait by the counter, talking to the girls throughout them taking our order and was very distracting in my opinion to the girls working. I wish we would have gotten the same one on one service he got. I like...
