Rerun Consignments — Local services in Avon

I wouldn't give this place the time of day. I went in to ask the owner if she took formal/evening wear. She said she didn't, so I was like ok, no problem. As I was walking out she asked if I had the items with me and I responded yes. She said, well, I'll take a look I guess (as if I was totally putting her out). I retrieved my 4-5 items from my car, brought them to her, and she barely GLANCED at them before saying, no she wouldn't take them. She was completely rude, had absolutely NO customer service skills and definitely won't get mine or any of my friends/family/business associates business after I tell them about her. Does she not know that bad news travels a hell of a lot faster than good...

Little resale/consignment shop that is much larger on the inside than you would guess by the outside. Mostly brand name items for sale, not many vintage items. Prices were too steep for us, if I wanted to pay $30+ for a shirt I would just buy it from the actual store. Had a good selection of prom dresses and shoes. Lots of kids clothing upstairs. The downside-BIG mean growling and barking dog INSIDE the store.... we were even warned that it was very unfriendly! Why on earth would someone trying to sell items have a vicious dog inside during open hours with customers coming and going is beyond me. Shop owner also was unfriendly and only spoke to us to tell us the dog is not friendly do...

So rude. She thinks everything in her shop is gold especially prom dresses. I went in with my little sister who is starting highschool. She and her friend loved this one dress and wanted to try it on. Instead of letting her the lady took the dress away and said we couldn't because we might damage it. And that my sister had no reason to try it on. Because she didn't need it yet. Never ever go in here her customer...
