Recarpeting a furnished mountain home can be a hassle, but using professionals like Ruggs Benedict can make all the difference. My salesperson, Ellen and her teammate Holly were great. Whenever I popped by the store, someone helped me and answered questions. Ellen was also available by phone and email whenever I had questions. From scheduling a measure, to helping me decide on final product, they were extremely responsive and patient. The store allowed me to take samples home and even ordered a few larger swatches of product I was interested in. In the end, I selected a stock product which worked out well in the house.

I was most impressed by the install team. This wasn't the first time I'd carpeted a house, and I was truly impressed by the installers Francisco and Saul. These two men arrived in time and worked solidly until the job was completed. They prepped the site with floor protection (to prevent damage to stone and hard wood existing flooring areas). They had to move and disassemble furniture as part of the job and I can honestly say I've never seen two people work harder. The carpet install came out beautifully, and my home was left looking back in order. All materials and old carpet were neatly bundled and cleaned up. During the job, a supervisor stopped in a couple times to check on things and ensure that everything was going smoothly. I later found out that Ruggs Benedict employs the installers (they are not a contract team that they hire out to) and I believe that this is what really makes the difference in the quality and level of service that was part of the install.

I'm back again with another review on Rugs Benedict. This time, I had wood flooring installed in my home, from the kitchen, living room, and down the hall to the bedrooms. I just can not say enough wonderful things about this company. I'm over the moon with the flooring, the installation guys, the process, and the care that was taken to make sure it was installed correctly and timely. The installation guys were early, friendly, kind, always had a smile on their face, and jumped into their work right away. I have a deaf dog, and they were very considerate to make sure my gate was closed anytime they had to go in or out. One of the guys was so kind that he asked to help carry a package in for me. My boyfriend was also very pleased and impressed with these young men that he decided to buy lunch for them. My flooring was scheduled for 2 days of work, but these young men got it done in one day. Now my house is not large, but laying any kind of flooring is time-consuming, especially for a modular home. A huge thank you, again, to Rugs Benedict for everything you have done for my home. I have used Ruggs Benedict for 2x different projects. The first project went relatively smoothly. There were a few issues with installation, but they repaired the issues quickly and we were very happy with the final result. The 2nd project was a disaster. The installation was TERRIBLE. To start, they didn't mix the materials. As a result, the floors looked terrible. Big sections of dark wood and big sections of light colored wood. In addition, they didn't remove the kickplates from the kitchen cabinets. The whole point of the kick plate is to cover the gap between the flooring and the cabinets. Because they didn't do this, they left HUGE gaps. This is basic stuff that any professional should know and do. Behind the fridge, where I suspect they expected no one would look, they left 0.5" to 0.75" gaps! In short, the installation was terrible. In the end, they did fix everything. However, it was a total pain for me to deal with. If I wanted to spend so much time working on my flooring, I could have purchased the material from Floor & Decor and installed it myself. If you want it done right after a whole bunch of your work and your time, then Ruggs Benedict is the best choice. If you want it done right the first time,...
