Read moreNottingham lake is one of my favorite lakes to go to! With the mountains on either side of you, it's a gorgeous place to swim, paddle board, and more! The lake is a part of Nottingham park. They have a stage area for events, tons of open green spaces, with trees to cover, and a fun playground that has a very modern feel. There is a trail that goes all around the park, lake included. There are at least 6 picnic tables by the lake and trees spaced enough for hammocks and slack lines. There are three volleyball courts and a swimming area. Outside the swimming area is for paddle boards, boats that you peddle to move, and small kayaks. There are a couple places that rent these out if you're traveling I am unaware of the pricing. You can also fish at any point around the lake or at the doc area. There is also a cute stream that runs through the park as well so everyone...
