We are the experienced family travellers, and we have a few timesharing ownership in different companies. Unfortunately the falcon point was the worst place we ever had in timeshare experience.
They have a sink dispenser which does not work properly. When you turn it on, its spreading the water all over the kitchen and make a huge stinking smell. Instead fixing it, they just put the sign âno food in dispenserâ and blamed me for putting a strawberry inside. Even with no food inside, it still did not work and was licking. During our 7 day stay, they could not fix it.
The pill holder in dish washer was broken as well, and it could not wash the dishes properly. The maintenance guy told me that he can do nothing with it.
The heater in the room placed right above your head, and blow right in your face. We needed to sleep with the open windows, witch was nice. But with the closed windows you simply have no air at all.
Most of amities did not work: sauna under reconstruction for a long time (according to the spiderweb inside)
Jacuzzi had a max capacity of a 6 people, and was always fully loaded. We could get in only on the 3rd day of stay, and we were surprised when jacuzzi did not work and had the same water temperature as a pool.
Everything in this hotel is so tiny, so you bearly can fit your luggage in your room. Ceiling is so low, that you can literally touch it (I am 5.10ft) Even the garage was so tiny, that you will spend 20min to park the car, not touching others.
If you will bring a luggage cart, or your skiing equipment in the room, you will be fined for that.
If you will need a new set of bead sheets, you will need to pay $16 for each. For my question âwhy so?â Concierge answered âbecause its a time shareâ. But we never have been charged for the sheets in any of the time share resorts before.
The staff were very nice, but unfortunately could not help with our issues. After dark you wouldnât find anyone to help you. Once we saw the sign âwill be in 5 minâ during the whole night. We could not check out at 6 am, simply because nobody was at front desk.
P.s I hate to write a bad reviews, but this was an experience of stay in cheap motel, where you usually pay $50 per night. So think if itâs worth spending your points or vacation vouchers for stay in this time...
Read moreBeware of staying here in 2025!! My family and I were looking forward to our one-week stay in the Rocky Mountains in July. We checked into our 2-bedroom unit only to find that the outdoor deck/sliding doorâand whole living room/common area light sourceâis boarded up with PLYWOOD, blocking out the light and views of the mountains. Furthermore, the outdoor area where a deck should be is blocked with scaffolding. (See photos) They are apparently removing all decks permanently
(Photos: The indoor photo was taken during the day with lots of natural light available from the outdoors, but the plywood blocks out ALL light to the interior. Itâs a dark ugly cave. My camera kept adding light to it because it thought it was nighttime. Outdoors, the scaffolding and full sheets of plywood cover the units.)
The management said there are 8 units affected by this and there are no other units to move us to. For almost $2000 for this trade, we got stuck in a dingy, dark hot unit. There is no A/C, and no sliding door for a breeze and fresh air. The construction workers started Mon. morning at 9 a.m. with hammer/equipment pounding and yelling amongst each other, so we had to shut the bedroom windows, our only source of cool air.
The fine print on the timeshare exchange reservation said the resort is undergoing a renovation, but never did I envision they would rent out a unit that is void of an outdoor view or natural lighting and loud construction work right on the outside of the unit. They should have blocked these units off from being available. Thatâs what maintenance fees are supposed to cover.
Would you pay full price for a place boarded up from the outside?
They sell timeshare weeks here and they seem to be full, so they obviously donât have a problem keeping their units rented, but I would look elsewhere before booking here.
Lastly, the photos on the website make the property look much bigger and nicer than it is. Itâs just ONE building, not part of the larger complex with nice outdoor decks shown in the marketing photos. The pool is nice and there are walkable restaurants and stores all around. I wouldn't mind staying here if we had one of the quiet units with an accessible deck and...
