i usually dont get snowflaked byt things like this but i felt this required attention. i went in for a booklet printing, i initially talked to a nice employee with whom i set up all requirement to order a printing. i was supposed to bring an updated file for a sample print. About 30 min later i came back employee who helped me was probably at lunch there was one there talking to another customer. we were about 3 in the line, and there was 1 customer before me. the employee called the customer in front and very disinterested asked me a sort of " what do you need?" i stated why i was there and she directed me to redo the same steps as i previously did prior to her. i then kindly try to explain her i already had those steps done, but she had already turn her attention to her screen acting as she wasnt hearing, i had to call her attention by saying "excuse me im still talking, before the employee deemed necessary to even listen to what i was saying, and quickly cut me off by directing me to do the same thing she previously said. i dont know how well Officemax is doing financially but this type of attitude is a business killer. i bring tons of business to that particular location and i can tell you now ill drive 2 more miles to go to staples instead. that employee was clearly being disgusting as she hated to be bothered for the job she is paid to do. BRITTNEY its not my fault that you work there its not my fault if you hate your job or if you had a bad day....i come there to pay for service i expect to be serve with dignity. Folks if you see BRITTNEY pick another agent...even though im sure after this review is published she will be on her best behavior....for how...
Read moreI'm definably think about not doing business with office max again, not at this location. I purchase or "ORDER" my Notary stamp which I purchase my previously one before when I needed to renew, this person Mckenzie helped me out I did ask her what sizes of the physically stamp they have for me to Choose (not the seal) I had my old one in my vehicle, I tell her I can bring my old one that way we can see the size she said its ok is going to be a standard size, well I trust her with my order the only reason I went it was because back in 2022 they gave it to me there at the store with in 20 minutes, but she tell me they were going to mail it to my address they don't do that no more ( otherwise I will make the online order at my office ) well I agree and continue with the order I was there for 15 minutes already, well when I receive my stamp the size was ridicules big for just a notary stamp 11/4' x 2 3/4 I don't think that's a standard size. I went back when Mckenzie tells me straight out there is no refunds on stamps because she didn't find no number for the warehouse or company I purchase it from. I buy this from OfficeMax nowhere else all she did is gave me the 1800 number after I tell her that I'm not looking for my money back, I was looking for her to replace this purchase that she did wrong. Read moreIt's always hard to find someone to help you in that store. Finally when someone did approach me asking me if I did needed help they were out of the product. So I asked can you find a OfficeMax location that carries them he did so, I asked can you please call that location & put them on hold for me so I'm able to pick them up the gentleman stated no it will be easier to go online when I get home & order them myself for that store. In addition I was explaining that for some reason I'm not receiving coupons from OfficeMax can you look into this for me he did so, he explained that I was no registered in the system & I would have to go online to do that as well. At Staples they would have registered me right there in the store so I would receive coupons & would of called another Staples to hold my order. Big difference between companies, I am a business owner myself & this was unacceptable to me. I spend hundreds of dollars a month in office supplies & I probably won't be returning to a OfficeMax in the near future. Going the extra mile for customers is a huge advantage for the future...
