Fired Pie — Restaurant in Avondale

I normally don't write reviews , but this needs to be addressed

i ordered one spicy southwest salad, two meaty Italian pizzas ( regular) , a third one with vegan cheese because my son has a severe dairy allergy .

i clarified the allergy in the notes and delivery instructions , and stated please mark the pizza with the vegan cheese, when i received my order their was no mark or sticker of any sort , i checked the three pizzas all looked the same .

so i called the store to speak with the manager about this issue and that the employees or who ever is making food items need to take these precautions seriously , my son has a severe dairy allergy this will land him in the hospital .

so when i called and spoke with the manager nothing was resolved , i was trying to explain the situation and she repeating kept jumping down my throat every time i would bring up my sons dairy allergy , saying " oh your cutting out", " what" , and then she'll change the issue and say just come in for another order then.

i said to her if you would just listen to me you would know i don't have a car hence why i ordered delivery , i was calling to let you know this is what happened with my order, my son has a SEVERE dairy allergy that could land him in the hospital if he eats the wrong thing , and for you to address this issue with your staff to please take better precautions .

nope she kept jumping down my throat , as if i was complaining for no reason, i have every reason to be upset , sorry not everyone is a Karen sometimes their is issues with the food or service , but i will not order at this location ever again after this...

Worst experience that I ever had at this location in Avondale!! June 4, 2021 at approximately 745 pm at 13070 W Rancho Sante Fe #C-1.. I never had a such a bad experience like the one I had tonight. I don’t know if the employees were having a bad day, but you don’t talk down to your customers!! One of the employees refused to put ingredients on our pizzas because we wanted a little of everything. She was telling our pizza maker to stop listening to us. That we were asking for too much. We’ve always gotten our pizzas the same every time and never had an issue. Then she told us that her manager is right there at the cash register and we could take it up with her.. The manager didn’t want to listen or even give us her managers name, right out refused, saying she is the highest boss there!! I asked her if she owned the store and of course she didn’t, so I know she has someone above her. Very rude and taking the side of that employee that was disrespectful to us. After our pizza was done, another employee came and dropped the three pizza boxes on the table top, smiling to the others as she walked away. It was so bad that other customers came and apologized to us on the poor service we got tonight.. Stay away from this location, we will be following up the chain of command on this issue so no one else is...

Pizzas are good and priced well. We went in thinking we'd eat in but the place was empty with no vibe so we decided to get order to go. People behind counter pleasant but not friendly, we ordered a pizza, garlic cheese crisp and salad. Menu did not show sauce or individual toppings separately, one had to read the arious pre-designed pizzas to understand/figure out what sauces and topping available. We paid in cash and sat at a Hightop while we waited. I planned to leave a tip when our food arrived so as to pay the bus person as well for cleaning. However...the pizza and crisp came out and no salad. A pleasant woman had previously alerted us to an ingredient that was not available so I assumed they were still making the salad. Especially since the man who we paid was also the one who brought out our food. We sat there for 5 more minutes. I went back to cash register and asked if they forgot about our salad. The man looks at me and then opens a refrigerator, pulls out a salad and asked me if that is my salad. ?? How do I know? Anyway someone else behind counter confirmed it was ours. Not sure if this was so.e sort of passive aggressive response to not tipping at counter or just weird customer service. Needless to say, we did not leave a tip. And there are lots of pizza joints we can go...
