I won't be back as the service staff exhibited discriminatory behavior against historically marginalized populations. It was sad as we are on the brink of celebrating Juneteenth and it is Pride Month, too. As an African American woman, a citizen of the U.S., Arizonion, with naturally curly hair (the only one in the restaurant at that time, that look like me) should not be treated like I am invisible (no greeting, no help whatsoever, overlooked - your restaurant wasn't busy either). The service staff looked over me and tried to assist another person, who presented as a fair skin, European American, who was greeted immediately and the wait staff almost ran to her. I had to verbalize that I arrived first and required assistance as I was unacknowledged as an actual patron to come dine. I was seated by a mute, as she just look dumbfounded as she was forced to do a job, that she signed up for. I wasn't rude and I was just matter of fact as the service staff failed at the initial greeting/helping me to get seated (timely). It took 5 to 7 minutes for someone to see about me, once I was seated, in order to get served water, it shouldn't had taken that long, and I certainly shared my concerns with the discrimination experienced from initial being in the restaurant with my server. She was a different person and she did apologize. My other person within my party arrived and it took a while for additional assistance again. My friend and I were celebrating life, etc over dinner, so we weren't in a rush, but the service staff was in a rush, getting us a bill to attempt to hurry us up out of there was very blatant (your establishment does not like my kind...whatever you perceive my kind as). Your establishment does not know me, but I was treated like I was not welcomed, therefore, I will share my experience with everyone I know about the unacceptable treatment. Do better...it is 2023 and remember there are way more establishments with better ambience, better food, and incredible service!

Read moreNothing said “hurry up and buy” like my experience there Friday night. I walked in about 8ish and they close far after that. After watching 3 couples leave I watched the staff clean tables and offer me and my lady a seat at the bar..I HAD TO ASK FOR A TABLE. Once seated I guess they got upset that we took a table for 4 and made it a table for 2. Sorry… but if I had been Rosa Parks, I would have smacked that person asking me to move to the back rather than being calm. So you can imagine how I felt having to ask for a table and the. Being retaliated against for it in the way of wait staff being absolute A$$#oles. I was asked if someone took our order about 20 min after being there.. and after asked, she didn’t take it.. she sent someone else over, reminded me of an SNL character.. who told me over and over, “kitchen closing soon order now”. I expressed to her that I was feeling really rushed… she said.. I come back in 5 minutes, I dont want cook and boss mad at me. EFF BOTH OF EM!! I’m a paying customer. I don’t care if they wanna go home early!!! We ordered… and the food came out so fast they were stacking things on our table.. no joke… someone came by my table every 5 minutes to see if we were done. A couple asked if we needed carry out boxes! It’s 915 and they close at TEN!! LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE The sushi… AMAZING… The kitchen food was worse than Kamala’s laugh. And lacked in every way… Frankly I’ve enjoyed watching Dogs mate more than I enjoyed the wings here. There was one guy who took definite attention to my facial expressions… he tried to make the whole experience better. I made sure I tipped him accordingly as he was the most impressive thing about the evening and he was a busboy. I gave him the wait staff’ tip. Nothing said HURRY UP AND BUY… like this evening....
Read moreFirst off, food was great. I could not have asked for anything better. If I reviewed just for food I'd give a 5, but the service I received just made me give it a 1. When we first arrived it was great, they took our information and text us when our table was ready. They took our drink order and brought them out, then too our order. Like I said started out great, but that's where it ended. Our waitress drop our food off, and started to walk away with out saying anything. We had to stop her to ask for silverware, we needed a couple forks for our kids. After 10 minutes of her not coming back to us, we stopped her again when she was walking by with out acknowledging us, to get our kids forks. 4 minutes later we get our forks. She just dropped off the for and walked away. She never once asked how are food was, or if we needed anything. All done eating (plates moved away from us) and getting the kids ready to leave, we kept waiting on our waitress for our check, or to acknowledge us. 7 minutes later (I was timing everything from here on out) I told the wife to take them out and I'll wait. Wife left with the kids, and I started to clean up the table and make it easy for them. After 5 minutes and getting it all set ( see the picture on how I had the table) I was still waiting for another 9 minutes till the waitress asked if I was done. Yes, I was done and ready for the check. I then told her I needed 2 small boxes. 4 minutes later, I was out the door. I've had bad service before, but wow. Great food, amazing prices, but no...
