I have been a frequent Onos customer since around 2012, I usually eat here at least once a week and always enjoyed it and anytime there were small mixups in my food like received the wrong food they fixed it easily and apologized. Today I placed a pickup order for my lunch while at work, I arrived and picked up my order and received friendly service. I got back to work ready to enjoy my food and once I took one bit of my lemon pepper chicken I instantly spit it out, upon looking closer my entire chicken was raw and undercooked in certain areas. Immediately I lost my appetite and threw the entire food out. I called the restaurant back and informed them that my food was raw. All I received from the girl on the phone is a “oh I’m sorry about that”, no offer to replace the meal or even a refund. I work in retail and I deal with difficult customers on a duly basis so I do my best to not be one and I never demand things when I complain. I was hoping they would understand you never should be serving uncooked food to a customer especially raw chicken and offer an appropriate solution. I don’t feel you should have to get upset and ask for a refund in order to be offered a solution. So with that experience I will never eat at any onos Restaurants ever again after 8 years. Read moreI'll start with the positives... the meat (I had beef and pork combo) was very good. It was tasty and served in fair portions. The sauces were also very tasty. Ok, now for the negatives, I paid for a combo, but I had to pay separately for a drink (over $2.00). The combo came with white rice, and mac and cheese. I substituted a regular salad for both of their sides and was charged for the substitution. Under the delicious meats was a bed of wilted cabbage... ugh! The substitution salad was crisp and tasty, but, had I known, I would have had them hold the broccoli (dont judge). The counter attendant was friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the menu. Since this was my first visit, I sure could have used some help. Instead, I was forced to use the menu behind and above her. The eating area was not really clean. I was there a little over an hour, despite that,the tables and floors were never cleaned during my stay. Customer service was non-existent. The restroom was disgusting. My overall bill was much too high for the quantity and quality of the food I received. Overall, I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Read moreI ordered a meal for myself and it took 6 minutes from placing my order to receiving my meal. A few moments later my wife decides she also wants to eat here instead of at sandwich shop next door. We order our food at 3:10 pm. We’re were helped by Lawrence. Fast forward to 3:31pm and our number still has not been called. Multiple other numbers were called including three people who walking in long after us. My wife went up there to see what the issue was and the Manager (didn’t get his name) was too busy on the phone. They never gave an explanation as to why it was taking to long nor an explanation to whether or not, it was being made. They simply gave us a refund like we were bothering them for asking about our food. Also it wasn’t even busy like some ONOs I’ve gone to. 6 minutes from order to receive for mine #185 and never received for order #187. But #190-191-192 etc got theirs fairly quickly.
Management = Zero Stars but he gets 10/10 on being a phone jockey (I’m thinking that’s his real job and managing ONO is side work)
Lawrence = 1 star….. pretty sure this is a reflection of his management team.
Overall = throw this location in the trash...
