Del Taco — Restaurant in Azusa

By far the worst Del taco I have ever been to. When I walked inside, there were three people working. I stood at the counter for three minutes before anybody even acknowledge me. There was somebody at the drive-through talking over the speaker asking as there was nobody there to help them and nobody would answer them.out. Eventually, someone who seemed to be off the clock, grabbed the headset and politely ask the person to please wait. A tall male with a tattoo on his chest who was standing about 10 feet from me, looking in the opposite direction, told me he would be right with me. I would have let all this go if it wasn’t for the fact that I received four tacos with about 1/4 of the normal ingredients, looking very empty and dry. You could not pay me to take these tacos. Visited this Del Taco in the Azusa area, to grab a quick bite. Service for food preparation after ordering was good. Employees were friendly. Drive thru was located on backside of gasoline station, shared same driveway entrances. Food was so so. We usually like Del Taco's battered fried fish tacos. This location was out of them. We tried their grilled chicken tacos as a substitute. We also ordered a double del burger and their french fries.

The chicken tacos were cooked well, but just weren't anything memorable as far a flavoring. Their french fries were not fresh tasting, a bit dry. We usually enjoy del taco's french fries also. The burger patties tasted good, but were very thin and small. 4 stars for service, but 3 stars for food...

I love Del Taco But in the recent 2 years this specific location has gone down hill in service. I purposely avoid this location. Pull up to the drive thru and you'll wait there until tomorrow for them to greet you. You will not be acknowledged. They don't care about the customer here.

If Executive management is reading this please look into rewarding/compensating your disgruntled staff at this location. Maybe the incentive for employees is not satisfying enough to care about customer service.
