Unfortunately I got a job there and had high hopes and great expectations for myself as an employee. Instead I got bullied and threatened by a fellow colleague. Intimidated by another and put down for being TOO friendly. The end result was a Manager PUTTING HANDS on me and attempting to STEAL my cellphone on the ONLY day the owner Billy Q. was enjoying a day with his family at a local amusement park and was NOT present. I was pushed, pulled and bruised that day and without hearing my side or even checking to see if I was ok the OWNER of Grocery Outlet let me go. I was FIRED from his store. The manager who put hands on me as well as the other Manager who stood by and allowed this behavior as well are both still employed at this particular store. There are a HANDFUL of Customers that witnessed this particular ordeal and a handful of Customers that were there when I was spoken to so rudely in front of them by this particular manager who brought me to tears. So I know they know that I am not making any of this up. I am sorry that I didn't get to say goodbye and sorry for letting you down. I tried to stay positive and not let them bring me down because I didn't want to let them get the better of me. Mainly for the Customers that gave me the strength and the encouragement but after the tourment and humiliation of their actions my heart was crushed and I couldn't allow that abuse to continue.    Read moreThereâs absolutely no way this store gets visits from weights and measures, every time something seems to be to good to be true it probably is, every time I go the price you see on the shelf is not the price at the register, the items never matches the tag, the price is never correct, sometimes even double the price, look at your receipt most likely you will be overcharged, itâs very frustrating, management doesnât care and I was even told tonight âyea sorry our prices are always wrongâ yea great customer service, not, this place and staff is a joke. This place needs to be visited by weights and measures to be held accountable for the amount of errors they want to overcharge you. It takes 6 people or more per line for them to even open up another register, I saw two people leave their items and walk out tonight just because the line was too long to wait and the staff didnât seem to care. So basically wait in long lines, experience 0 customer service and have them put back items that you waited in line for because the price is completely wrong, thereâs a big difference between $1.99 and $7.99, donât bother get your close to expiration...
   Read moreI usually love this store it's my go to because it's so close to my house. In saying that this is the 4th time I've bought something that was expired. Such a waste of time and money. I guess it's my fault for not checking the dates just assumed that this was the grocery stores job I'll do better next time đ.
So its March 7th and again I shopped at this grocery outlet only to get home and find out that the queso and cheese spread both were expired ...its always in that section I am tired of having to go back and get a refund for expired products one item expired on the 1st and one on the 4th... I shouldn't have to check every single expiration date on every product i buy i thought thats what the people who work here are supposed to do can't believe i am making yet another trip back to the store to get my money back I think its time to shop...
