Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Azusa

Tried using the online ordering for dinner the other night and so happy I did. The food was just as good as the last time. Char burger was delish. Fried chicken sandwich had a huge piece of chicken and the fries were perfectly crisp. We also tried the new side, fried green beans with sriracha aoli, which was pretty tasty as well. What really made the trip special actually starts with some criticism. While the online ordering makes customizing your orders easy, it doesn’t have a comments or request section for extras, like their “boom” sauce, which we like for the fries or extra chiles. The only free form section for comment was for the description of my car for curbside pick up. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised when the young lady who brought our order noted that the boom sauce and extra chiles were already in the bag. How cop is that. I’ve used Grubhub and DoorDash often and ordered extras many times, but the restaurants frequently miss it when there is a section for extras so this was a pleasant surprise. Will be back and happy to know there is a special hack for ordering extras from curbside. ———————————-

Not sure if it’s because I haven’t had a burger in a while, the new fried chicken sandwich with red pepper sauce, which was awesome or if the fries were over done and tasted nice and crunchy like I like, but I really enjoyed my meal this night. The service was pretty awesome too, who he as nice. Place wasn’t packed at all, which may have helped. Finally, I like the fact they have chiles and hot sauce to go with the ketchup and other basic condiments. The burger was good, but the fried chicken sandwich was fire. Using the on line ordering went well 👌, now my salad "BBQ CHICKEN SALAD" itself was more than adequate quantity wise, the chicken was done well not dry or over cooked still moist with light bbq sauce with good flavor as ordered, my only issue is there was not nearly enough red leaf, diced tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, crisp bacon items described on the ordering website, these ingredients were in the salad however they were very sparse & this would have given much more flavor & more bang for your buck, now not being to pricey @ $7.19 a little more generosity on the ingredients listed would be beneficial for business & consumer , now that said there was plenty of fresh romaine, iceberg lettuce & the order was ready on time, the website is user friendly & as for creating an account though not necessary I saw no benefits e.g points, discounts etc. that I could see. The eatery is clean, handicap accessible & last I checked clean bathrooms there is a large parking lot & it's in a well lit area. I have had the burgers there & THOSE have always been on point with good flavor made to my request & done with out a long wait even during rush hour, same goes for the fries in closing the servers have always been friendly. Probably worst Habit I've been to. The cashier was rude and sushed me when I asked her for condiments. Also, we wanted to sit outside and all the tables were dirty. We asked the cashier for napkins and cleaning supplies so we could clean it and she told us she would send someone. Well, she told someone and the girl decided to go talk to another employee sitting inside the dining room eating on her break. The employee proceeded to eat from the other employees food and took like 5-10 min to come outside and clean the table while we were holding our food. To the point we went back inside and ask for the cleaning supplies again.. Probably never going back here. They lack...
